Ever since I heard Seth say “I just jam Blood Moon in modern then I can play whatever jank I want”, I see the card differently 😂
Yeah, it was a classic in old school against the odds videos. Seth would literally splash red just to blood moon to slow games long enough for whatever jank he was plaing to work

As a domain zoo enjoyer, blood moon is hilarious and people should keep playing it
Blood moon is one of those cards that limits greed in the best way possible

@@cuddlequeen3225 domain zoo is a 5 color aggro deck that utilizes the domain mechanic to get above rate cards. Leyline binding, tribal flames, territorial kavu, and even nishoba brawler are great in the deck

@@cuddlequeen3225 domain is a deck that benefits from having all 5 basic land types and zoo is a type of aggro deck that uses lots of different types of creatures

This is the deck I'm shocked I dont really see others playing. Like, sneak attack decks were some of the best decks in legacy, and now your sneak attack creature is green for NO too. Like, I think this is one of the better decks in this format.

I was noticing the flicking even before he did that and couldn't understand why someone would have that sort of tick with a virtual tabletop.

This is a perfect example of why I’ll be more a spectator for timeless than a player.
It’s so much the power levels so much as the games being over in at most 2 to 3 turns.
If you can stop the haymaker pkay it usually hits a pretty long grind. Seeing a lot of jund and Sultai just going the distance
Keep up the Timeless videos. I dipped my toes into Timeless with an Esper Midrange deck recently and enjoyed it alot, though I need to do alot of tweaks but ran out of wildcards.

The classic assassin disguise.
This is surprisingly similar to a Mono blue deck that I built previously while playing Shandalar. Tinker and Show and Tell to cheat out huge threats, Personal Tutor for consistency, Back to Basics functions somewhat similar to Blood Moon, and then backing it all up with Counterspell and Force of Will. It’s surprising to see a Gruul deck that functions so similarly to a mono blue deck!
Timeless is the best kind of silly. This is so much fun to watch right now.
ive been working on a build like this, its really fun! personally i like 1 kogla and yidaro (removal), 2 ghalta (so you can no it even with one stuck in hand) 3 atraxa and 3 griselbrand (best fatty with sneak attack) i cut the wurms cuz they felt winmore even if theyre super sick with sneak attack
Rope Line Attendant is actually a really cool card and imo underrated in Brawl. But yeah, I don't think it's remotely Timeless playable 😅
I've been playing with it in Angry Kitties in historic.
It's provided an insane amount of Winota fodder to completely kill me the one time i saw it. Without Winota, no idea why they're playing it

Back in Urzas block got 2nd place in a tourny with a Sneak Attack deck playing tons of creatures I couldn’t cast otherwise. Thorn Elemental and company. Ran into white weenie in finals and got wrecked.

This deck is sweet, one idea would be to put a miser yasharn in the deck to blank yawg combo.

For the past couple weeks I've been seeing a lot of Natural Order into Primetime. Definitely strong but rarely game winning. First time I saw Natural Order into Atraxa or Ghalta it completely changed my perspective on the card, I think I might craft this bad boy
Inquisitor Captain does a lot of work for me in Timeless...also this deck could be called Attack, Natually, Sneak +1, Attack & Order, or Natural Sneak

Just before starting this video I saw a LSV short that said; ‘whatever you do, don’t play SA in Timeless’. Oké let’s go!
Out of curiosity, why 10 dorks as opposed to 6 dorks and 4 utopia sprawl? It’s much more resilient to fatal push and bolt. 6 forests and 8 fetches for said forests are plenty to enable it.
Other than that, sweet deck. Blood mooning people is more than a type of magic, it’s a way of life.
It needs the creatures to sacrifice to Natural Order.
Probably for naturally ordering things
I suppose it’s a trade off. With bolt being everywhere I think it may be worth the downside of not being a creature for order

Love the cards, wish they would add more powerful cards to widen the format. Like give us some free spells for phoenix, maybe hedron crab and vengevine, maybe some tron lands or something, cabal ritual, entomb/persist
It definitely could use a few more things to broaden the format like Tron lands and another ritual. I'm not sure that if I want free spells or not though. Like the obvious ones are Force of Will/Negation, which might be healthy for the format but also might make Wilderness Rec/Nexus and/or Oko/Uro/Teferi piles super meta which sounds miserable.
The other ones that come to mind are the evoke elementals and in really don't want to have to start playing against scam on arena (which is pretty much all that's missing from the client).
Otherwise I guess there are the suspend cards like footfalls and living end, which I guess you could cascade/discover into on turn 3 in theory?
@@Red-Tower i think living end would be a super easy addition for wotc and would create a whole new archetype instantly. In terms of free spells i just meant like gitaxian probe specifically for phoenix. But force of negation may become necessary eventually, if anything too broken appears.
The formats weird in that it requires a myriad of strong decks in order to stay balanced. I think we just need more archetypes that can keep up

@13:31 I understand the infinite combo, but what is the finisher? As in what is the wincon? Enemy has no mana, everything is tapped. He draws the entire deck and then what?

@@SecsecGoesRawrthey get infinite draw with the snakes until they draw into another chord, then they sac all tapped creatures except hapatra to get more untapped snakes and search for blood artist or cuthroat with chord
@SecsecGoesRawr yeah sac-ing the snakes from hap to yawg, wipes Seth's board and gains a lot of life
Sac a snake, put a -1/-1 on Seth's creature, get another snake, gain the life, do it again until Seth's whole board is dead
You sac until you draw chord and then sac all tapped creatures except hapatra to convoke into zulaport or something

Dedicated dollmaker, certainly the counter point to that "What alchemy card can compare?" With historic cards you can clone anything quicker and much more reliably..

Well it's not a loss yet but the opponent will simply remove his board, draw 21 cards while doing so and seth next turn will only have 4 mana since his mana dork gets removed, even if SOMEHOW he got a way to cheat more his creatures into play all the opponent really needs to do is keep removal in hands in case it's necessary and slowly beat seth down for the win, assuming of course he didn't find an instant win condition for the next turn in the 21 draws he's gonna get.
