I have seen many videos of people who had near death experience. They said death is all peaceful and you get to see your departed loved ones as you leave your body. This concept of heaven and hell and punishment is made to scare people. We take birth to learn lessons. Enrich our soul. If some lessons are missing we come back again.

You are right. There is no judgement after death. Karma and your last thought defines your next birth. Birth is to learn lessons and grow spiritually for moksha/ liberation / Nirvana.
Exactly. Some religious scholar make it feel so scary and dramatic. But we are all energy beings and there is no punishment in the universe. If we do something wrong it means we didn't learn our lessons correctly in this lifetime so we need to relearn it again. So we might take birth. And there is free will everywhere for the soul. I read lots of near death experiences from all religions and found they all said the same thing. They see a white light and as they move towards it, they feel more and more peaceful. Their departed loved ones come to welcome them and make them feel safe

With all due respect to the speaker and great humility to this show! Why are we having such superficial conversations? I'd suggest please call a learned scholar as per Shastra from the dwaita philosophy. Am sure you will have answers as per our scriptures. I'd suggest please call Dr. Pundit Vidyasimhacharya Mahuli. He can speak the best of English and answer any question as per Shastra and purana. The problem today is we have opinion based answers and no one speaks the exact interpretation of scriptures.

I survived from Coma state which was around 3 months. Glasgow Coma scale was 4, which means survival chance is very negligible. While I was in Coma, what I can sense now is like deep sleep without any dreams or sense. I strongly believe that there is nothing after death.

My understanding is this , once suicide has happened, that soul will spend the balance of the time it was allocated before suicide in this world without a physical body . My mother use to say never never do suicide as the ATMA will have to relive suicide for a further 7 cycles.

TRS: It is called Atmahatya for a valid reason!! The suffering of the jivatman based on its prarabdha has to be experienced. Akal mrytyu often leads to suffering of the soul, only after the time has elapsed, can the soul take the next journey into another body, unless it is moksh.

Earlier, Ramayana is read when a person is on his deathbed. But now we don't see this. As we don't realize that the person is nearing his end

I have so many questions with this explanation. 1. Theres no proof, just conjecture. 2. How do plants and animals "upgrade their current behavior" to become humans in their next life? 3. The loss of fluids due to relaxation of the muscles past rigor mortis is exactly why the orifices are closed. I bet at least one dead person had their eyes or mouth open. 4. If the soul can leave through the head, why cant it re-enter the body through the head? 5. Hindus cremate, because of population size, weather, heat and lack of refridgeration. After death Hindus believe the body stops being the focus, rather the rituaks are ficused on the soul, and the indirect consequences are beneficial, the healing process can start.

I think when we discuss these points without any scientific or Vedic evidences people will take it as a joke. For example comments like 13 days after death for normal people or 90 days after death for those who committed suicide, distracts the listeners attention and people lose interest in the topic. Only bring scholars who can give a deeper understanding or discuss the topics with tantric and Vedic explanation.

1. I swear by the Day of Resurrection;
2. And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer).
3. Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones?
4. Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers.
5. Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins.
6. He asks: "When will be this Day of Resurrection?"
7. So, when the sight shall be dazed,
8. And the moon will be eclipsed,
9. And the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or folded up or deprived of their light, etc.)
10. On that Day man will say: "Where (is the refuge) to flee?"
11. No! There is no refuge!
12. Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day.
13. On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions).
14. Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds].
15. Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds).
16. Move not your tongue concerning (the Qur'an, O Muhammad ) to make haste therewith.
17. It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad ) the ability to recite it (the Qur'an),
18. And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad  through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Qur'an's) recital.
19. Then it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear to you,
20. Not [as you think, that you (mankind) will not be resurrected and recompensed for your deeds], but (you men) love the present life of this world,
21. And leave (neglect) the Hereafter.
22. Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant).
23. Looking at their Lord (Allah);
24. And some faces, that Day, will be Basirah (dark, gloomy, frowning, and sad),
25. Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them;
26. Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit),
27. And it will be said: "Who can cure him and save him from death?"
28. And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death);
29. And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded)
30. The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)!
31. So he (the disbeliever) neither believed (in this Qur'an, in the Message of Muhammad ) nor prayed!
32. But on the contrary, he belied (this Qur'an and the Message of Muhammad ) and turned away!
33. Then he walked in full pride to his family admiring himself!
34. Woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you!
35. Again, woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you!
36. Does man think that he will be left Suda [neglected without being punished or rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord (Allah) on him]?
37. Was he not a Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge of semen) poured forth?
38. Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion.
39. And made him in two sexes, male and female.
40. Is not He (Allah Who does that), Able to give life to the dead? (Yes! He is Able to do all things).
