    🏮 🇹🇭 🎉 This is by far the most straightforward Q&A my husband & I have seen on Thailand Visas! 😊 Wow, the questions about health insurance & coming with my husband & not having to pay 💰 800,000 Baht as well, just all good information.
    I will ask the question about how long is the retirement visa good for? Is this renewed yearly with the same 800,000 Baht in the bank? Who gets the interest %off it? If you don't mind sharing Tony, let us know, if you don't feel comfortable saying maybe a question for Assist Thai Visa. 😌 Thank you Tony & Thai Assist Visa & Kendall 😊because you are part of the channel too!

      Thank you for watching and I'm so glad it was helpful. I would normally defer any visa-related questions to Assist Thai Visa since they have the most up to date rules. However with a retirement visa, it is good for one year at a time, then it gets extended for another year, etc. Yes, the 800,000 is needed in the bank for each extension and you would get the interest in your account from the bank.😎🇹🇭🙏🏻

      @@TheNarrowGate Great video & really informative, however I am confused regarding the 800000 Baht, every site I have looked at states that for married retirees aged 50+ both individuals have to meet the financial requirements of either deposit or income rather than just one? Thanks.

    • @TheNarrowGate
      @TheNarrowGate  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Glad you enjoyed the video. As Rhys had mentioned in the video, for a couple only one person technically has to apply for the retirement visa and the other can be a ‘follower’ on that visa. So that’s why only 800,000 is needed in a Thai bank account with only the persons name on the account who holds the retirement visa. However if both apply for the retirement visa then yes, both people would need to have 800,000.
      Hope this helps.
      For more questions please reach out to Assist Thai Visa, details in the video description.

    Hi Tony, thank you for this vlog. Lots of great information.
    Do Assist Thai Visa only assist people moving to Chiang Mai or are they able to assist people who are moving to Bangkok? If they only assist people moving to Chiang Mai, would they have a recommendation for a reputable visa agent in BKK?
    Thanks in advance from a couple of Aussies planning their future!

    This is very helpful and I did look at their website. The big question I cant seem to find an answer to: My husband and I want to move to Thailand and stay. ( from the US) I am 62 and my husband is 40, so that is another complication. Everything I have read says the OA - OX visas are only good for 10 years max. What happens after that? Do you reapply? Thank you again and I think we will meet with Assist when we come.

    When I went to Thailand I was only given the option of a thirty day visa. I can ask for a 60 day visa at immigration? I was told at the bank that I needed a one year visa to open an account. Also, should I have an FBI check done before I enter Thailand for my O-A visa?

    • @Bows-Trading-System
      @Bows-Trading-System Před 2 měsíci

      Actually 60day visa on arrival depend on the country where you from .right now Immigration up date just for 30days or about 45 days and if you ask for more 30days that not good for your visa record because they will think you use the wrong visa. If you over 60 you can do retired visa but if want to do business that should submit business visa . Begin the right visa will be easy for you to renew visa for another year.
