This video edit is dedicated to the memory of Rod Serling. Not much of a Halloween guy anymore but I had this idea written down for a while and thought October would be the best time to create and release this video (A Halloween special I guess). At first I thought about strictly using only clips from older anime but figured using a few newer ones would be fine since I imagine this series would be animated by different studios with different main animation creator visions for each episode. I also tried to replicate the Death Note Anime intro to a point by using a epic metal song etc. Let me know what you think and filming on Wolfman Vs Baragon is still coming along well too! Oh heyo Twilight Zone content??? Oh hell yeah! I swear Ive watched every single episode. I cant pick a favorite, I mean you have so much variety, even William Shatner seeing a monster on an airplane wing. 😂 The most stand out bit of every episode of course was Rod. Even the 80s movie knew you couldnt have proper Twilight Zone without him, so they added in a recording of him. All this to say that I was so pleased to hear him as this video started! You checked litterally every box, Rod, the tone, the music, even the swirling thing! 😂 Outstanding my guy! I applaud!
You were right about the older animes going well with this, somehow that add just the perfect edge of uncanny surreal energy. This is the best Halloween special i could ask for:) i remember staying up late to watch the twilight zone, so much better than black mirror or anything else like it today. Rod Serling was great, He was a good Christian who had meaning and value to his work with twists that usually had an impact. The scariest TZ to me was the one where that plane went up, vanished for 24 hours, returned, and then the guys on it were unexisted, like some grande cosmice force took them from reality, Creeps me out thinking of it. Also I liked that one where the Soviet guy was in a room with a trap and a hit man toying with him, Its not supernatural, but was like something outta Yugioh Season 0 where The Other Yugi plays a death game. I was moved to tears by some eps and impressed by the art and quality of it. The Old Man In The Cave ep is similar to the Bible Story of building your house on the Rock vs Sand as Past Knowledge can have more impact than current desires and even if we don't know why, there is a reason the olde wayes say not to do things. Btw, that Tsubaki anime was pretty f'd up. Didn't know you saw it. I did. Nice Urotsukidoji and laughing salesman clips. I'd probably have also used ShutenDoji with its supernatural and psychic and dimensional and horror things. Great editing btw. Really well done. Imma spread it around my homies.
Yeah he was, he actually passed away in my city and was born not too far from it as well. My favorite was the one were the Devil was trapped inside a door to keep him from causing disaster in the world. Not too Biblical but a great episode. The one with the huge cone head "aliens" was good too, I have more but I can't think of them off the top of my head. Yeah it was, I actually recently found out about it. I felt so bad for that little girl. Thank you bro I really appreciate it
