Main Salmon River Whitewater Rafting

I didn't always remember to turn on my helmet video camera and I completely missed Big Mallard Rapid where we had a Cataraft flip. First week in July2023 and we had 90-degree weather. A group of 13 Rafters for 5 days rafting 80.9 miles. Great campsites, fun people and the highlight is two of the trip members and I did this river in 1980. They were 18 & 19 years old and just had gone through a guide rafting school I put on. So 43 years later and we are still running rivers. I also took my granddaughter who is 19 and I enjoyed having her along and sharing this river trip with her.

I think the original poster was making a joke. The cats look like they aren't carrying much. They look light and easy to flip.
I see a lot of rafting videos of people who aren't ready to deal with flipped boats.
People don't know about just taking their oars out of the water, apparently.
