The stations were truly spotless. Once this train line is up and running to Malaysia and beyond, it could make for a really cool trip for those that don't like to fly. Stay tuned - there will be another train along in about a month or so - different continent but same cleanliness (I hope!).

Actually all laos city first have airports. The train station came much much later when city already taken shape.
