I'm a fat-guy too. Totally get it -lol!! Can survive just fine to 40 below. If it gets above 90, I am miserable.

I’m wondering how come no one makes a video about installing a fairing on the 103 like your wife’s bike. Your theme “if it’s a 103 it’ll fit”, did you happen to have made the video by chance? I’ve searched but did not see anything on it.

Got one more question how did you space the floor board out?
I just measured the distance from the mount to the floorboard mount that I needed to clear the heat shield of the exhaust and I made a piece to fit that gap. Which actually wasn’t big enough that’s why notched out the heat shield because when I measured it, I didn’t have the heat shield on the exhaust.
Just wondering if my heat shield going to rust mine is chrome if I cut it
To be completely honest with you where you’re going to cut your heat shield if you were to cut it then mask it off and spray paint it with a high temp black paint, you would never see where the cut was and then that way it wouldn’t rust. You wouldn’t see the black either because you would paint it from the inside out so you would never paint on the chrome.
Did you ever make the air ride video for the switchback?
No, I haven't made a video on it. I just put it in this walk around video with the thought that if anyone was interested they'd reach out and message me. But truthfully it was as easy as changing the shocks. There is no real trick to get them to fit.

I got the tour pack off Amazon and found a guy on Facebook switchback group that made the quick release for them. Check the Video descriptions for the links to both.

I came across a set of these second hand without the mounting hardware. Could you tell me which bracket I need to buy to put them on my switchback? Please I've asked everyone and haven't had any luck.

@bigshow65 yeah sorry. I have vance and hines super radius I'm trying to put on my 2014 switchback. I bought them second hand and can't find a bracket for it. Do you know if the bracket for the big radius would work?
OK, so I’m having a hard time finding a lot of information on them as well but from what I can figure if they look almost the same, but I couldn’t tell you for sure if that bracket would work. I’m sorry man. I searched as far as I could, I cannot find any definitive answer for you. Now having said that let me say this if it was my bike, I would buy it and try it. It’s so close it might work or you may have to open the holes up a little bit bigger to make it fit, but I would spend the money on it even if I had to retrofit it, I would.
What did you use to cut the heat shield?
Are use an angle grinder with a cut off wheel, but I did use tape to mark the area that I wanted to cut so that I didn’t cut too much
