Brilliant video mate, love seeing a flats Collection! Looked quite a heavy run that flats runs are usually no too bad here. Keep up the great work and the brilliant videos mate
Nice one! Looks like quite a big housing complex there, those bulk, or 'eurobins' can get pretty heavy and hard to move, With the lifters on these trucks, which I believe there made by TERBERG, I have seem them operated on auto or also manual, All our trucks here have them on manual, I did also notice these ones can be run as dual or split, When there run as dual to do the 'eurobins' do them have to be operated manually? They seem to auto rise to a certain point, then have to be manually operated. Love to see some of the purple, glass 'eurobins', if you ever did them, they'd get pretty heavy and loud, haha.
Cheers , yes white city as we call it locally Is indeed a big scheme, bit rough and ready to be honest, not a place you would like to stay lol. The eurobins can only be emptied on manual, they grab the bin and lift it up a few inches as you said and then you have to empty on manual . Terberg own Dennis so ye that's why you see all the newer Dennis bin trucks with terberg lifters on them👍
@billythebintruckdriver my backshift is round about 7:45 i finish mate but we done govanhill at 1:00 this afternoon on general waste and food waste from govanhill to anniesland through Glasgow city centre the back to the yard for dinner then heading back out for 5:45 then head back into Glasgow but its picking up bags emptying 360 wheelie bins and 770 litre bins and 240 litre wheelie bins its mostly govanhill anniesland dumbarton rd on the first half of the shift but the truck we’ve got is daf lf with gesinknorba loaders
I think your job will be more stressful than mine pal lol as you have to drive in a busy city like Glasgow,I have it a bit easier done here in Ayrshire 😂. Some of our runs your also finished pretty early but we don't go into the yard until after 8pm as a rule, even if we've been finished for back of 7. We clock off at 9.50pm Mon -thur and 8.50 pm on a Friday.
I'm on garden waste working in grimsby but have done plenty of the euro bins...absolute ballache mate a binners worse nightmare 😆...have you had any go in the back I've had a few go in 😊
@@loganthomson707 ye I think it's still partially shut off still,be a few commercial bins and household ones not getting done until everything has re opened
Odd that general waste goes in such bright green bins. We have black bins for general waste and green bins for recycle. What part of Ayrshire is it ? The black bins with the green lids are new also. Is the lid locked so only the flap opens ? Does not the waste get left in the bin ?
Hello there, the new Green bins to indeed have a black body with green lids, I think it was a cost cutting decision as seemingly black bins with interchangeable lids are cheaper than fully green ones. The lids on our green bins are not locked. Only bins that can be acquired with a locked lid are the commercial ones I think. The council is south Ayrshire in south west Scotland

That looked an absolute killer of a run mate, who needs the gym when you've got eurobins eh 😂
Lol yes doing euros all day, especially household waste certainly gives the upper body a good workout 💪
If you are ever on the glass bins for flats you should do a video on it
You must've been absolutely knackered by the end of this run mate, makes me tired watching it 😂😂
Yep It was hard going at times lol ,worse for the loader's though
@@billythebintruckdriver3952 Yeah I dread to imagine what it would've been like for them, must've hardly been able to move by the end haha
