Thanks for watching "Take 2" of my prong ring design only this time I wrapped a trillion cut stone. Here's a link to the first video where I wrap a round stone- czcams.com/video/PX8IGYWSTIE/video.html
Hope it's better! What do you think?

I just brought a few Trillion faceted mystic fire rainbow Quartz and I’ve never wire wrapped this style of stone before and I was just stomped on how to start it off. This helped a lot, Thank you.

Interesting choice of stone. A trillion cut certainly is a challenge. Your techniques seem solid. I think this turned out well for a prong set stone. I have a slightly larger trillion citrine that I will eventually set in a man's bezel wire mount, but I'm not quite ready to give it a try just yet. Thanks for all your wonderful instructional videos!

Thank you for this tutorial! Over the years I've watched videos about prong setting rings but figured they were beyond my skills. Well. Now my sister-in-law wished a ring made out of her cut amethyst stone so I decided it's time to just LEARN it. I just made my first prong ring with this tutorial and I am in awe of the result.
If you don't mind me asking, what kind is the polishing kit? Rio Grande has, I guess, discontinued the precise kit you linked to. Silicone is mentioned in the url, and that is entirely new to me. I have so far worked with colored copper wire and am now transitioning to solid wire, making polishing a new frontier for me to explore.
