fly fishing Ribnik may 2023. the water level was high, the water was fast and cold, and the fish were not very active on the surface. The weather was mostly cloudy with a lot of wind, which made it difficult to work with dry flies. The water level came close to normal only on the third day, short periods without wind gave results in fishing with dry flies size 16 to 20 and mostly smaller grayling and some brown trout. The equipment used were rods 10' #4 tippet 0.10; 0.12, nymphs, pheasants 16 to 20, and in faster water also larger gammarus.
