Thank you so much for your comment 😊 The bonnet made in the video fits a 3 month old baby. But maybe you are using a different hook size or thikker yarn. I would love to see the bonnet that you made. Please tag me on instagram with @adorecrea ❤️

I've just finished making this! Mine came out quite large (I think it would fit a 6-8 year old) but I did use slightly thicker wool and a 5mm needle. I'll try 4mm or less next time! Thank you for the lovely pattern 😊
Just finished this for my 8 month old in an olive green yarn and it turned out beautiful! ❤❤❤ Thank you so much for this tutorial! … I used a 31/2 yarn and 3mm hook; it turned out a bit small, I ended up adding a couple of rows and it worked! ❤

Thank you so much for the great video! It’s came out beautiful! I have one question- why the instruction says to make six slip stitches at the end of the two rows?
You are very welcome🥰 I'm glad to hear that your project turned out beautifully! Regarding your question about making six slip stitches at the end of two rows, that is to get the bonnet to bow slightly at the neck.
Yes you can use some different yarn, just make sure that the gauge is about the same, you can check it out in the free written Pattern on my website. 🥰
Hello, thank you for the tutorial, could you please tell what is the yarn size and what is the size of the hat you are making in this tutorial? Thank you
Hello :-) Thank You for your comment. The Bonnet I am making is in size 3-6 months. Here are some information about the yarn I am using: Yarn Group: B (20 - 22 stitches) / 8 ply / DK / worsted Weight/length: 50 g = approx 110 m Recommended needle size: 4 mm Knitting tension: 10 x 10 cm = 21 sts x 28 rows
Unfortunately, it will take a lot of work to adjust the size to fit an adult. But you are always welcome to try yourself with a thicker yarn and a larger stitch count to increase the size. Best of luck with your project😊

@@AdoreCreaCrochet I used a smaller yarn (2.1oz) and smaller needle (3.25) and just only did 14 rolls instead of 16 and it fits a infant

I don't have access to Drop yarn. Would I substitute a #2 , #3, or #4 yarn for the size you made in the tutorial.? Love the bonnet.

Hi there! This is so cute. I just made this for my daughter. Do you have a pattern in newborn size?
Hi :-) Thank You!
Unfortunately, the minimum size is 3-6 months. but you can possibly try with some thinner yarn.
Does it work for newborn baby? Thank you so much!
Yes, it can. You might want to experiment with a little thinner yarn or a smaller size crochet hook😊
Hello, thank you for the tutorial, could you please tell what is the yarn size and what is the size of the hat you are making in this tutorial?
Thank you
Hello :-) Thank You for your comment. The Bonnet I am making is in size 3-6 months. Here are some information about the yarn I am using:
Yarn Group: B (20 - 22 stitches) / 8 ply / DK / worsted
Weight/length: 50 g = approx 110 m
Recommended needle size: 4 mm
Knitting tension: 10 x 10 cm = 21 sts x 28 rows
Hi! This is so cute! Is there a way of adapting it to fit a 3 year old do you think?
The Pattern comes in sizes up to 18 months. You can try to make biggest size with som thicker yarn. I think that would work😊
@@AdoreCreaCrochet where do I find the pattern please
Thank you for this tutorial ❤
Thank you 😊❤️
Me again, I need a newborn size. If this is larger, how do I make smaller? ty
You can just use less stitches.
Hello! Lovely video. Would it be possible to be provided with some measurements by any chance? Thanks!
Hello! Thank You very much🙂 The bonnet is approx 15 cm in height and 17 cm in width.
@@AdoreCreaCrochet great, thank you so much for responding!
How do i make this for a newborn??
I recommend to use a smaller hook size😊
Me gustaría saber cuánto mide ese de 3 meses para así tantearle von el material que vamos a usar
Lo encontraré pronto y lo mediré. Luego te responderé con mi respuesta.❤
What size is this bonnet as shown in video. ty!
It is size 3-6 months
Do you have this pattern written? Does the chain count as row 1?
Yes the written pattern is right here: adorecrea.com/lemon-peel-crochet-baby-bonnet/
No the chain does not count as a row. 🙂
What are the measurements for that size 3 -6 months
Head Circumference: 3-6 mos.- 42 cm.
Thank you very much that is very helpful because we have different materials
I keep loosing count. Can you give the rib measurement in cm/in?
I dont have it Im sorry.
That’s ok. I got it in the end. X
Can you explain adult size❤
Unfortunately, it will take a lot of work to adjust the size to fit an adult. But you are always welcome to try yourself with a thicker yarn and a larger stitch count to increase the size. Best of luck with your project😊
I keep losing stitches somehow. Is it supposed to stay 56 all throughout or decrease row by row?
Hi🙂 No you should not lose stitches. You should have 56 stitches throughout🙂
Is this yarn is 100% cotton yarn ?
No it is 50% merino wool and 50 % cotton 🙂
What weight is this yarn?
Yarn Weight: 3 or Light / DK / Worsted / 8 ply (recommended needle size: US 6 or 4 mm) 🙂
