In Super Paper Mario, there are little devils in the Hell level called D-Men. That joke reminded me of them.
R.I.P. Morty, he was the only ghost that valued Luigi.
I don't feel so bad for Morty once his movie is done, since he accomplished what he wanted to before getting captured. Before that? Capturing him is a sin if his movie is incomplete.

It sounded like Vinny's joke Mario voice for a moment, Charles really killed it.
As lovable as Mario is, one of my biggest gripes with him is that he almost has no character. Nintendo always sets him as a default hero archetype without any nuances or specifications on his emotions or beliefs, while Luigi is much, much more characterized, such as his timidness, love for his brother and love for his ghost dog. Seeing Mario here, legitametely sounding sad, finally made him look more human. I hope Nintendo continues with this as they did with Luigi.

The way I see it, the reason Luigi can't jump in this game is because he has that heavy duty ghost vacuum strapped to him at all times, including the added weight of Gooigi.

Literally beat this game last night, so this vid is perfect timing- It's pretty great and insanely charming. Don't know if it can beat Luigi's Mansion 1 in my heart, but I loved it, it's great.
from this vid it looked pretty short, is it as long as 1 and 2?
@@tacothedank I never played 2, so I can't really vouch for it, but it's longer than 1. It feels a little fast in terms of the pacing at first, but by the time you get about 6-8 hours in, it slows down and gets a little more challenging. I beat it in 16 hours total playtime, but I also used a guide for some gems and played kinda fast, so that 16 could easily be stretched to 24+ and that doesn't include the multiplayer.
@Skleeton the only one I've played is 2, so I don't have anything to compare it to lol

I love that Vinny was so happy and excited throughout the game (besides maybe the boss battle against Clem and the glitch during the garden boss battle). I can't blame him, the game is so charming and fun, especially the cutscenes and the interactions between characters.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who experienced some game busting bugs during boss fights that demanded a reload. The garden one I had a different issue where the chainsaw disappeared and didn't re-spawn. Then in the desert the boss got stuck on a wall and could no longer be interacted with. you can also get camera glitches when walking into egad's lab.
Damn I didn't watch much related when this game came out, but it looks like a massive step up from Luigi's Mansion 2.
