The new StopTech slotted rotors, Hawk HPS pads and the stainless steel brake lines are now installed on the NC miata! It's an awesome upgrade and I'm super happy with it. Goodwin Racing is where you can find this kit and other options.
Now I need to figure out what's next... leave your suggestions in the comments!

Thanks for posting this video on aftermarket brakes for the MX-5 NC. I too, ordered Goodwin stoptech rotors and porterfield pads (along with stainless lines) for my 2012 MX-5 (PRHT) NC. Can't wait to have them installed next week!
Love your video man, you've inspired me to start my own series for my nc build keep up the good work!
Thanks and that sounds awesome! It's fun to work on projects and share it.
New microphone sounds sweet, the new rotors and refurbished callipers look great well done, all the best from England
Nice I'm glad it sounds better! Thanks for checking out the video
Yeah, really nice sound from the new mic - it's pretty directional as we can hear from the off-scene sound which is quite quiet. Great for rejecting spurious noise and focusing on the on-scene activity. A definite win for the channel!
I salute you. I've pretty much done all you've done or I'm looking to do what you have done. Strange. I have the 2012 NC PRTHT. Your work is appreciated... Cheers
Haha thanks Dave appreciate the watch
That mic upgrade was as good as your brakes lol bet awesomeness!!!
Very cool! Nice install - and my OCD likes your caliper spraying! ;-) Keep 'em coming! Glad you like the improved stopping experience! Stopping can be more important than accelerating! :-D I have a lot of plans that are financially not compatible with my building a house! I want a big brake kit, 18" wheels and coilovers. What do you think I should go for first? All the best, Rob in Switzerland.
Big brakes would be nice but the set up I got is a really nice addition for a lot less!
@@ColoredinLight Exactly! My plans are not financially compatible with my current situation! :-( Doesn't stop me planning and dreaming though!
Does the aerosol paint attack the nitrile rubber used for your caliper gaitors?
No it shouldn't
This is exactly what I'm doing to my camry. Constant 70-0 stopping going down hill for traffic lights kills the brakes. Need something that can take the heat.
Hi, Can I have all info about these pieces.
I want to find them in Spain.
If it's possible..!!
Thanks

Relatively quiet? Was looking to get same setup on my 09 civic si
Yeah they're definitely quiet. Never really noticed extra brake noise
Mic sounds way better than before
Glad you think so!

Nope
Your 60 to 0 time really hasnt changed at all boss. If your car can lock the wheels then that's all the power you need. It's the tires that provide the traction to stop the car. A stickier tire will help it more.
Now if we're talking triple digits then yeah you can start to see a difference.
Your vids are entertaining but not educational. Why not show how to actually do the job? I realize others have done it, and shown it on CZcams, but who cares?? We learn by watching. Your vids offer nothing in terms of how to actually do the job! Don’t be afraid to show the brake fluid dripping!
Its exactly why I linked and said theres a better video on how to install these in my bio. I wasnt going to copy someone else's content. Some of my other stuff is more how to like, but my channel isn't specifically for how to videos since I'm not a mechanic or anything.
Yup... I totally get it. Not criticizing you at all! I’m not a mechanic either... but I’m willing to attempt these type of mods and repairs myself... which is why I would appreciate seeing a more detailed and in depth video.
