      @michaellowe3665 Před měsícem

      @davidl5119 you are correct. Unions are parasites that exploit workers and corporations. They will milk them both of their last drops until they drive the jobs out of the country. The workers get some short-term gains, but the union officials walk off with completely unearned profits. Why do you think the mob was so involved. They don't touch anything without a high margin.

    • @ToyotaGuy1971
      @ToyotaGuy1971 Před 20 dny +1

      Nope, that fear-mongering isn't going to work. The cat's out of the bag, people know their strength to fight down this despotism and get real representayion comes from worker-solidarity, and collective bargaining-power it brings. Wage-slavery, price-gouging, workers' rights violations, your days are numbered.

    In the short term this may be good for the workers but in the long term this can lead to businesses leaving. In an extreme example unionization can lead to political corruption as labor power is centralized and begins to make donations to politicians. I grew up in California in the 70's. My father any many family members were union. These industries and business that were unionized are long gone.

      You can thank neoliberalism for that. It doesn’t have to be the case that US workers are competing against third-world workers making pennies. That was a choice our gov’t, at the behest of their billionaire buddies, made.

    • @tina50ify

      I belonged to a union for 10 years in California. It was totally corrupt. I would never join another union again. They never did anything but take my money (you had to pay unions dues whether you joined the union or not), and never did anything for the workers. And when the union went on Strike, we were given $25 dollars a week to survive, while the union officers continued received their full salary.

These southern workers should be strengthening their bonds with management, not breaking person bonds by joining a mob to bully the company. Robots will be welcomed with open arms instead of dealing with people, whom can be irrationally driven by a mob. If people want to get ahead in life, or doesn't like their work, there are many things you could do. It's almost unlimited. Joining a gang is not likely going to improve your situation tho.
