"Radio Peking" May 1970 - Maoist China reacts to Nixon Invasion of Cambodia

A look back in history. We've been digging out old audio recordings I made in the 1970's....then rather laboriously digitizing the reel to reel or cassette tapes. I discovered some old tapes of 'RADIO PEKING' during Mao's Cultural Revolution. I recorded some of them in Saigon, Vietnam in 1970.
The 'Shortwave' signal from China was not too bad.
On July 1st, China will mark 100 years since the founding of its Communist Party. 50 years ago Maoist China was denouncing the United States for its April May 1970 invasion of Cambodia. The old recordings and music are fascinating.
