I love how this is the fight that reminds you that Snail Time is sometimes much more useful than Stop Time.
Also, it's the fight that showed me how utterly gorgeous the game looks when in slow-mo. That Master Spark, man. It's goddamn beautiful.

I used a combination of Snail and Stop for this thief, especially during her rush attack. Snail so I can see her approaching me and stop once she's hittable, then I go set up a massive sharp wall of fuck you.
Snail time and chucking chainsaws at Marisa because screw this witch.
Whenever I get into a boss battle after I beat Marisa, I reminded myself that I have the ability to slow down time and can still get blue graze
I used stoptime only for her masterspark the others I could predict a pattern with so I was always prepaired
First time fighting this woman, she stole my health like it was books
I stole hers until the Master Spark came.

This boss fight is when I realized Sakuya's hitbox was smaller than her sprite, and that the Master Spark COULD actually be dodged. Pretty thrilling! Wish I could do it again.

Fun fact: Master spark's bullet pattern is the same as the spiral trap in the level before her fight. Foreshadowing at its finest.

Like, there are so many different versions of Love Colored Master Spark, but few of them capture the energy of that guitar at 0:34
You can jump over the master spark if you run to the stairs on the right and when the laser comes closer, stop time and double jump your way over. The hitbox of the master spark surprising doesn't start at Marisa, it starts 2/3rds from her to ground. It'll only work if you are jumping off the stairs for maximum height.

The second boss theme dosent deserve to go in this hard but it's too good so it's fine.
I have not faced Reimu or Cirno but this was the hardest boss I fought, the others took 2-3 tries, Flan took 1 but this took almost 15 tries to beat good lord Master Spark is hard to dodge

I know it’s built like that stair trap, but the delay and actually going under to slide knife away, PLUS her being able to turn around in the windup makes it hard.
The level that I found the hardest out of them all (even though it is supposed to be easy)
