Not sure what stage of life you are in, but after leaving the supermarket and getting a big boy job with my degree, the only thing I want to do is stand and scan people's groceries..
Him saying only 10 minutes in that it's really stressful had me laughing. Yep, it's a rough stressful job.

@@AlwaysMoystHere here. It feels like hell when you’re doing it but as soon as you join the big boy job market and have all this responsibility and expectation on you. You miss the days of slacking off and having a laugh at the supermarket will all your friends.

Watching Sips do change is strange to me. He never gives out the 50c
I set all my prices to .00 or .50 so all I have to touch are the 50c coins xD
This reminds me so much of back when he played that medieval shopkeep game that had him selling weed lol. I haven't watched Sips in years man...

I hated that he almost never used the 50c when giving change...multiple times the change was say 77c and instead of 50-25-1-1 he would do 25-25-25-1-1

King of retail to is being made as we watch
I've got 15+ hours into this. 30+ skus in grocery, perishable and general merchandise. I maintain a seperate spreadsheet with my costs, retails, margins and comp. margin differences. I hired a cashier which was great and have 6 shelves and 2 fridges. The game settles into a constant shelf stocking task. All you end up doing is running around stocking shelves, opening boxes - stock shelves. It's really not fun. They need to give ability to click on a product and "set the number of facings" per rack and then hire a "stocking" employee who will open boxes and set your product on the shelves. Until then, don't waste your time.
It's almost as if it's a simulator or something 🤔 lol.
We can see your reading comprehension is poor. A "sim" implies a reproduction of reality, this is not that. All for reasons I mention. But nice try at being a smug dud. 👎🏼
Hopefully they add theft, the need to clean and some more automation in ordering/stocking.

37:45 look at his face. it's max payne 1. If only checkout was this fast irl. Change for a hundred is common. What you do is order what you need for your store. They really should have employees to stock shelves. $4 in pennies is hilarious.
That made me laugh when you put the flour on the shelf but didn't price it straight away. That woman then come in and seen they were being sold at the wholesale price you had bought them for and not at retail price so she bought 4 of them and even though you changed the price before she actually paid, she still got them at the price they were marked at when she took them of the shelf.. that's the law that you must sell them to her at that price they were marked at when she took them from the shelf and if you look at the till when she paid you will see she did indeed get them at that wholesale price.. then after she bought them you said , the customers seem happier... no wonder she had just saved 12 dollars on the 4 bags of flour you had just sold her hahaha

It’s an American thing. We think it’s weird to not store them in a fridge.
It's cause when we wash our eggs, we're removing the stuff that prevents it from going bad on the shelves itself
