    I won't lie, I was wrong about this situation.
    It's gotta take a lot more patience than I would have to deal with such a special dog. Much respect to you.
    try to keep this particular short pinned at the top of your channel so that folks like me who get concerned for your dog can hear from someone, who even if we don't agree with his specific methods, most of us accept that he has a great deal of knowledge and expertise on the subject.

      If we're going with that route, you do realize Cesar Millan has no formal dog training, meaning he has no degree nor has he taken any steps to getting any certification to qualify him as a professional.
      He simply has a method that appears to work short term and is good for TV.
      Please do some research if you're going to defend someone like him.
      Edit: After some more digging, he has an honorary degree. Which is basically meaningless beyond stating "we recognize you but won't give you anything official."

    All dogs have different dispositions doesn't necessarily depend on the the breed. I've seen people say that it's not normal for dogs to act this way but I've played with German Shepards that have acted like that, as well as pit bulls, and even a golden retriever have acted like that. Yes, a normal person on the street who doesn't know the dogs intent may be worried and probably should but it doesn't mean the dog is dangerous, mistreated, or poorly trained. Unless you see how the dog is raised you cannot say much in regards to the dogs behavior.

      @Jake LaGotta trimming nails and bathing are things that cause a dog's fight or flight response to kick in so they are filled with adrenalin I would say that during the nail clipping or bathing process a good 70 percent of dogs lash out at one point or another. I would take growling and snarling over a bite any day. That's not to say the dog will never bite, all animals are unpredictable no matter how well they're trained. That's why it's always important to take caution no matter what when handling animals.

    I had no idea that rotaties do this for enjoyment, or playful. Ceasar should always be trusted on dog matters, he really knows his stuff! This is actually quite a cute video ♥️

    Yea, not all of them calm down tho 😂 I used to have a neighbor “friend” growing up who’s dad had a Rottweiler. If anybody came into their house, that wasn’t him his dad or brother, they would usually have to put him outside. They did have a huge crate in the basement for him, but that didn’t even work. This dog would go crazy and just wanted to tear up whoever was in his house. If in the metal cages, he would snap and start to literally flip and roll the cage around while inside of it and would always manage to break out of it lmao

      It also depends on the dog that some dogs are territorial like that. It's just their personality. I have a pitbull who will be ok with anyone until they come onto the property then its a barking and growling fiasco. She calms down but is untrusting of the other person for a while

    I don't know if I buy the legitimacy of this clip. Ceasar is clearly referring to the sound rotties make when they interact and play with each other, yet the issue everyone is pointing out with this guys channel is how his rottie is exerting potentially dangerous levels of dominance over him and his family. If Ceasar is genuinely referring to this channel, then it goes against almost everything I've come to understand about dogs over the years (including the advice/scenarios seen in Ceasar's own shows). I accept that I could be totally wrong here but my gut is telling me otherwise.

    I've watched alot of Cesar's shows & I've bought several of his books. He IS the Dog Whisper 1000%. Play growling is one thing but the dominant behavior I've seen in other video interactions with Bear goes 100% against Cesar's teachings. I'm not even sure Cesar's reacting directly to your video. He said this is how they play with each other. There's only 1 rottie in this video. It's of my opinion your asking 4 trouble. Tell ya what though, you get Cesar to a 1 on 1 with Bear and Cesar says he's a good mannered dog? I'll eat my words and apologize.

    • @bishopman2308
      @bishopman2308 Před 3 lety +3

      No you won't. You haven't ate your words after this video. You will just find another excuse to criticize this dog and the owners, when in fact you should just move on and not worry about other people and their pets, unless they are directly affecting you.

    • @paulsawake3369

      @@bishopman2308 it's not the dog I blame. It's never the dog, it's the human. I never heard Milan mention Bears name. So yes I'm saying this is a fake reaction video of Milan reacting to bear or at least Milan hasn't seen other videos of bear/human interactions. I'll eat my words if I see Milan & bear on his show and he says that the dog & owner are good. I keep getting these bear videos in my feed by the way I don't go looking, except when I see that human letting the dog control the human. That is NOT what Milan teaches, 100%. God Bless.
