@@jpat989 I saw IG also..I disagree. There is no group leader. No funding. Its a needed way of identification for reparations and mostly data collection. For example how many ADOS or DOAS or DOCS or Foundational Black Americans (its all the same thing) are graduating hs or employed or graduated college. We come from mainly a slave or sharcropping culture. Its interesting to ask.. How are those descendants doing given having to survive in a completely racist sysyem. Lineage is a way of distinguishing these complexities from diaspora family that were born in jamaica or Ghana or wherever. When I lived in Jamaica I was the Black American or Jahmerican.. I didn't have a problem with it. I was accepted and loved yet I was different and i understood that. And I didn't interfere or criticize the stuff i saw because Jamaica has a lot of nuances that are unique to the Caribbean and not found here. So to finish, I have to saw I disagree with you.

When you drank that water at the ceremony,I knew something big will come out of it,your humble attitude to learn and mingle with the people paid off,I know you never expected it but your ancestors guided you all the way, welcome home son of the soil,Congratulations and I am sure you now at peace. Its so incredible ,wow,I had to rub my eyes twice, pinch my self,it's not a dream it's true ,you are home to the land of your ancestors, thank you for paving the way for many more to follow your steps.
