In literary circles there is talk of the author's voice, and I see a consistent voice through the books of the bible, so much so that without knowledge of who or what the church of latter day saints came by my house gave me the book of Mormon after being born again a few months and I noticed in the very first chapter that this was not of the same voice.

I believe the Bible is the inspired Word but I hear multiple author's voices throughout. The example mentioned in the video is Luke, who speaks almost like a modern journalist with attention to detail. Contrast that with John in the book of Revelation, James, Peter, Paul. I find they all have unique voices and styles that will resonate with different people. The book of Mormon, ironically, is trying to capitalize on the fact that we trust style instead of substance. You may not hear the same voice in the book of Mormon, but many people do and that is why they put it on par with the Bible.
God’s voice is consistent through many witnesses, each according to his ability. All were useful vessels and unique like each of us.
Praying that God will renew you day by day and return you to complete health and wholeness. Thanks for your timely and much needed teaching.

You're waaay more educated than most if not all of us viewers, yet you always talk like a regular person and explain the confusing (and, 'Wow, I've always wondered about that!') aspects of the Bible in such a way that ordinary people can understand! Well since actual Telepathy exists (like silent cell phone calls) how do you know that God hasn't utilized telepathy to communicate with humans? If we can engage in telepathy why in the world wouldn't the Creator of All use it too?
It's not necessarily an "alien" thing.
Why are you so sure this isn't a possibility?
We are always channeling spirit with our breath. It doesn't matter if you are brushing your teeth, eating, talking, or writing.
It's about selecting your yoke, you will plow according to what the master gives as work.

I've been thinking about the Critical Text camp talks about the Bible being only inspired in its original manuscripts, as if we have to have the exact original words for it to be "God's Word" rather than a clear transmission of the ideas the apostolic writers meant to convey.
i really dont see how biblical authorship is very different from the prophets. i dont get the hangup regarding god having a direct hand in the writing process. its not a crazy notion.

I think what Mike is saying is that prophets and inspired writers were given the inspiration line upon line, precept upon precept, as scripture says. Then at the time to share GOD brings it all together and ties up loose ends. God builds things, the devil just dumps them on you. I learned long ago that what's done in haste is not of God. Why would Omniscience ever need to hurry? He might cut things short as in making a short work on the earth, but He doesn't need to hurry.

There are some Egyptian loan words in the Torah, which makes sense if it was written by Moses using his vocabulary learned growing up in Egypt. There are other parts that were dictated by the Lord too according to the text itself, also written by His own finger in stone (twice) which presumably was copied verbatim. There are also other parts of the text that are exceptions to being inspired by God, for example the lies of hasatan.

There are things in scripture that cannot be described or explain other than having the source from divine knowledge, somehow God telegraph specific information directly to the writers and scripture they were not just simply writing what was a byproduct of their upbringing and skill set and experience. If that were true there would be no prophecy there would be no supernatural insight in scripture
But how did they write it then? I never got his point. He was saying how it was not written but how was it written then?

A pastor is claiming the word "Study" in the KJV does not mean what Webster's 1828 Dictionary says it means. He calls it a "False Friend."
How can I get the meaning of the word "Study" as it was understood in 1611, please.
It started with this passage, which he claims is the beginning of his "False Friends" to kill the King James.
I don't believe him.
2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
His 16 min video can be seen @ "50 False Friends in the KJV #46: "STUDY"-THE MOST IRONIC FALSE FRIEND"
Getting the true meaning would be just as much about the person reading it as it would be about the human writer. It wouldn't matter how perfect the Book was written if the reader didn't seek the Author for the true intention. So discrepancies in the manuscripts are there for a reason. It's so nobody can say they've really got the whole thing from somantics.

The thoughts are the chiken, the words are the eggs.
After a while people can't tell which comes first.
God directed hearts of those who believes in Him, shaped their hearts, so that their thoughts, their words, and their actions is in according with Him.
Word is a conveyor of thought, just like egg is a conveyor of chiken.

If you really want to know the mind i.e. nephesh of Almighty God read lsaiah55: especially Vs's 8,9 But the Whole book of Isaiah is a gift for those that Love the LORD God Jesus.

No one can explain the process of God inspiring the writing of the Bible.
We can see it and understand it as we read the Bible, but the process is still beyond us.
Also there are security codes found in the Bible so complex a modern day computer couldn't have done it.
The last 12 verses of Mark have one of these codes. These 12 verses have 175 words, divisible by 7, the number of vowels divisible by 7, same for consonants, same for unique words, and this just goes on and on for 75 items.
Mark couldn't have known he was doing this. Yet here it is within his choice of Greek words for us to find today.
The Lord knew we would have trouble believing back then, so He put these things in for us.
Only the Bible has these literary proofs. The Lord is more real than you looking up to the sky and saying it's blue.

It can’t be a vaccine. The Bible is pretty clear on what it is; an actual marking. My guess is it will be a QR code of some sort, but not a vaccine.
You must be a new listener to Dr Heiser. I would refer you to his Naked Bible podcast he is going through Revelation and how it uses the Old Testament. If you like Tim LaHayes books you will not like Heisers take on Revelation

Simply put, the mark of the name is the ot concept referring to the name of the Lord sealed upon the congregation upon entering the Sinai covenant marriage in the Aaronic benediction. Defeating heresies like automatic writing and telepathic channeling of the prophets and patriarchal authors of the Bible by YHWY is all in a days work for Dr. Heiser- Why? Perhaps he believes from his heuristic study of the Bible that such interference in the mind of man by his creator is so beneath the sophisticated plan for the redemption of man that these heresies just can’t be true.
God guided the writers through life preparing them for what they would write one day. Then God filled the writers with the Holy spirit, which brought them perfectly in line with God. So in the same way that Jesus was perfectly in line with God, and every thought and action was identical to if YWHW had himself had done it. The writers of the bible would write in such a way that would be identical to if God himself had written it.
I take it Michael doesn't believe in tongues. because that's the most blaring counter to this minimization of the power of the Holy Spirit to inspire with precision. Not one jot. Not one tittle. I might wonder what else Michael has downplayed regarding the Word of the Lord 🤔

Inspiration, however you define it, is not in a vacuum. Otherwise God would have just wrote an entire book and handed it to humans. This is what Rabbinical Jews falsley believe about "Torah". They believe that Torah has always existed irrespective of humanity. The truth is that inspiration is more often in conjunction with revelation through events and circumstances. Inspiration then become God helping people put that observable reality together. The apostle Paul put pieces of history together and it all started when uncircumcised gentiles received the Holy Spirit. This was impossible unless God was employing some unknown means. Paul realized this and put it all together. And with God's help of course.
