- Harold is in love...with this cake. It's so delicious. It might even be better the next day. We didn't have any vanilla ice cream so I ate mine with coffee ice cream and it was very good. I hope you will try it!

My husband is a truck driver and he discovered the plastic wrapped honeybun cake and got one everyday for about a month because he loved them so much. When he started gaining weight he knew he had to give them up. Thank you so much for this recipe! It's going to be a great surprise cake on his birthday! I can't wait to try it. Mmmm yummy Mama Sue! I didn't even know there was such a thing as a honey bun cake! I still buy the honey buns and we love poking holes in them with a fork and putting butter on top and popping them in the microwave for a few seconds just to melt the butter. Oooooh my goodness! So delicious!! But now we MUST make this cake! I want my youngest son who will be 21 in May this year, to try this cake cause he LOVES his honey buns and he loves cake! It's the best of both worlds!!! My mouth is watering already!! Thank you Mama Sue! You have the best recipes! Oh which reminds me... I don't have any animal a in my home, if I did they wouldn't be allowed in the kitchen. 🤦 Could get dog hair in the food. My daughter has two dogs and any time some one gets something to eat their right in front of them wanting it,even if they've done ate. I can't handle that . 🥺 Lady at our church makes honey bun cakes. Looks good.👌
