I got 1 box on pre sale for 60 and had amazing luck and pulled both the ghost rare ra and the alternate art. The gods were smiling down at me

Yeah, i bought two boxes from ebay in hopes of finding one. After openin my boxes, i wenr back to check the ebay seller only to find he had GR Ra's for sale with +14 sold.
I felt ripped off. Even though I received 2 sealed boxes, i know for a fact that my chance of getting a GR Ra was never there.
@@phunkymunky7210 I just bought a Sealed Box from Ebay.. how they know you don't have the GR Ra's in there? If sealed you don't have the same chance as the others? please tell me now i'm worried that i won't find it, luckily i cheked the seller and have 0 ghost rare on sell or selled so that's good
@@Mens_Rea - They go by the averages.
Let’s say they buy a case. They will open boxes until they pull a ghost rare. Since pulling 2 isn’t a case average, they sell the rest of the boxes knowing there is a better chance of the box not pertaining the most expensive card.
Such a strange relationship with this set. On paper I had nothing to draw me in other than the Ghost Ra that I know I'll never see, yet when I finally found some in store and had a crack at them it was one of the most fun sets I've opened in a while! (Opening coming soon btw!)
Definitely keen to watch and open more of this set, and hopefully see some epic Ra action along the way!
I bought one rage of ra booster box from ebay I was really excited to get back collecting cards I unfortunately fell short no Ghost rare "RA" and no alternative "RA" but I did get ancient chant and the Egyptian god slime in my left side of the box.
I find it soo weird that Ra’s Disciple got reprinted soo many times the past few months

Legendary duelist boxes are crap at the pull rate. This why i just buy singles.

It’s funny because I bought one box and got RA ghost, RA alternate, god slime, and other awesome pulls...I feel like I got really lucky

I got the alt art ra and Egyptian God slime. Probably only ones I'll get that are epic. Ghost rare probably won't get, I think my luck ran out with utopia.
Don't give up. I pulled Ten Thousand Dragon, then two days later both starlight Gaia the Magical Knight of Dragons and collector's Chaos Emperor Dragon. Crazy shit happens.

Cyber Knight, while most enthusiasts would buy multiple cases of this set, I prefer amazon as I am able to get the cards that I want, and that includes Ghost Ra, though he, his alternate art, Egyptian God Slime, Guardian Slime and Ancient Chant seem to be in demand, the rest of the main set for Jinzo, Meklords and Egyptian Gods/ Ra and Obelisk, I have already purchased and are being shipped to my address. Being a purest collector, it will be aa while before I am able to get the rest of the support for Obelisk, including the materials for God Slime as well as Jam Defender. I’m just glad that Konami was able to take a majority of abilities used in Yugioh as well as Anime cards, such as God Slime and make them real.
So does guardian slime defense change per each monsters attack in same battle phase? Or just changes defense reflecting the first attack and wont change on any other monsters attack in same battle?

ShadowSlayer I’m not sure where you can read it online. The one site I typically read manga on, the scans for YGO were pretty awful so I caved and started buying the books from eBay.

I would have loved if they made Bihamut a ghost rare. Duplicating his rarity was kinda lame of them.

Idk if thi is common, but in 1 box i pulled 7 super (2duplicate) and 5 ultra. I want to know if thats normal from a booster box from Rage of Ra
I'm going to guess that Konami had ideas for Jinzo cards, because Jinzo was one of the potential decks in that structure deck poll, but because it didn't win and they didn't want to throw out the cards, they through him randomly into this pack. Beast King Barboros was another potential structure deck, and ended up getting new support in the form of a card, so its possible I guess? Still such a weird legendary duelist pack: Yami Marik, the main bad guy of the second arc of DM, Aporia, the main bad guy of the second arc of 5D's, and Espa Roba, a one episode wonder in battle city. One of these things is not like the other.
Interesting theory I think you're right! Jinzo is one of those cards that feels weird to have its own archetype but at the same time it feels kinda right!
That ghost rare Ra is pretty elusive! Such a cool card too. Maybe next time! Good pulls otherwise though!
It’s awesome that Ra gets a rarity upgrade but it would be nice if the original artwork was secret rare like the yugi and Slifer megatin and the Kaiba and Obelisk megatin
One of those card I probably won't ever see in person but that won't stop me trying! Hope you and Cyberknight can get one too!

Pulled the Ghost rare winged dragon of ra in the one booster box i bought. Pulled all the god card support except god slime. Working on a character inspired marik deck with all the new ra support and id like to pull the physic reflect bounder.

its funny I opened up 3 boxes worth of these packs and got a ton of Meklords (built a deck out of it) and Jinzo and Ra support but no God Slime, and then I was at Toys R Us after a dentist appointment and i bought some packs on a whim, first pack I opened and pulled Egyptian God Slime lol

u get that synchro out and then u can get instant god slime since it needs a water monster+ lvl 10 water
No one uses that summoning method. They just need a level 10 aqua monster with zero attack. Metal reflect slime and guardian slime are the targets.

With how much I would be spending on boxes trying to get the ghost rare or Egyptian god slime I’d just go on eBay. In fact I did and spend $300 on ghost rare winged dragon of ra. Havent bought Egyptian god slime yet though

I literally just went bought one box from my local store after being on hiatus for a year just to try my luck.
On box....I pulled the ra alternate art,blaze cannon,guardian slime, jinzo the machine menace EGYPTIAN GOD SLIME AND THE GHOST RARE IN ONE BOX.

This set is way too underwhelming. There's legit only 3-4 cards that are actually desirable. The archtypes are pretty bad as well. Meklords are anti synchro only. If they were anti extra deck maybe they'd be cool. Jinzo is decent but most deck dont even use trap cards. Winged dragon of ra is just not viable in the slightest. This set is just not worth it
