    Ah, more genius from Pat! Or is it the young lady doing the repairs!
    My piano accordion has a broken reed on the treble. It is a Scandalli and over 60 years old, I have had it since I was16 yrs and I am now 76 yrs! I always take good care of it, but it has always done this.
    When I lived in Australia I used to remove which ever reed block had a broken reed and post it off to an old Italian gentleman in the city. He would repair it and post it back to me and I would pay him with a postal order! No electronic tuners in those days, but he always got it right! Good to see that somebody still has the skill to use their hands to repair something. Cheers, keep up the good work!

      Thanks for sharing your memories Kevin, that accordion could tell a few stories I bet. Regarding your question: the two of us work as a team on the accordions. 🪗 🎵
