In this video, we will walk you through the entire process of wiring the outdoor unit of a split air conditioner. We will cover each step in detail, providing clear and easy-to-follow instructions to make the installation process a breeze, even for beginners.
Here's what you'll learn in this video:
Introduction to Split AC Outdoor Unit: We'll start by explaining the components of the outdoor unit and their functions.
Electrical Requirements: Understanding the electrical requirements is crucial for a successful installation. We'll explain the power supply specifications and any additional considerations needed.
Wiring the Outdoor Unit: The main part of this video will demonstrate the actual wiring process step-by-step. We'll guide you through connecting power cables, control wires, and safety features, ensuring everything is done accurately.
Installing a magnetic contactor in an AC outdoor unit is an important part of the air conditioning system's electrical setup. The contactor is a switch that controls the flow of electricity to the compressor and condenser fan motor. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to install a magnetic contactor in an AC outdoor unit:
Note: Before attempting any electrical work, make sure the power supply to the AC unit is turned off to avoid any accidents. If you're not confident in your electrical skills, it's best to seek the assistance of a licensed HVAC technician.
Install the Magnetic Contactor: Mount the magnetic contactor on a suitable surface inside the outdoor unit using the mounting screws.
    Wiring the Magnetic Contactor:
Connect one end of the power supply wire (usually the black or brown wire) to one of the main terminals of the contactor.
Take another power supply wire (usually the red or orange wire) and connect it to the other main terminal of the contactor.
Attach the free end of the black/brown wire back to the original circuit connection point in the outdoor unit.
Connect the other end of the red/orange wire to the other original circuit connection point.
    Connect Control Wires:
Connect one of the control wires to the coil terminal marked "A1" on the contactor.
Attach the other control wire to the coil terminal marked "A2" on the contactor.
Insulate and Secure Wires: Use electrical tape to insulate all wire connections and prevent any accidental contact with other components. Make sure all wires are properly secured to avoid interference with moving parts.
Check the Wiring: Double-check all connections to ensure they are correctly wired and firmly attached.
Close the Access Panel: Put the access panel back on the outdoor unit and secure it in place.
Power On: Turn on the power supply to the AC unit by switching on the circuit breaker or plugging it back into the power source.
If everything is working as expected, you have successfully installed the magnetic contactor in the AC outdoor unit. If you encounter any issues or are unsure about any step, it's best to seek professional assistance. Safety is of utmost importance when working with electrical components.

    Hi,
I have a query regarding the selec vprd2m voltage protection relay that I recently purchased. My house has a single-phase 2-pole setup, and I intend to use the vprd2m relay with it. However, the relay's output is 5 amps, and my house has a mix of resistive and inductive loads ranging from 5 amps to 15 amps.
To handle the varying load, I am considering using a 2-pole or 3-pole 25 amp contactor in conjunction with the vprd2m relay. This should help manage the load more effectively. Currently, I'm facing an issue where the vprd2m relay becomes excessively hot whenever my house appliances' load increases beyond 5 amps, especially when it reaches 12+ amps.
Could you kindly suggest a suitable contactor that can handle loads from 5+ amps up to 15 amps for my 110v - 300v, 20 - 25 amp resistive + inductive load setup? I'm looking for an affordable yet reliable option that won't compromise on safety and performance.
Your expert advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

use 60 amps magnetic contactor with protection device and connect all load through contactor.
protection device will operate the contactor only and all load on magnetic contactor.
