I had to Google where the Murphy Ranch is located. People think Los Angeles is a megalopolis, but there are a lot of remote locations. I lived in Los Angeles County 44-years and never heard of this place. Great job.

    Another well done video.
    Keep 'em coming, bro.
I know i've given you a couple of suggestions of historic places to possibly do videos about in previous videos.
One that I dont think i've suggested is the Centinela Adobe Ranch House located on the city line of L.A. and Inglewood. Off the 405 at La Tijera Blvd in Westchester.
I grew up 2 blocks away and have friends who live next door to it and a few houses away.
It is called the birthplace of the City of Inglewood and it is an actual adobe rancho house and barn that were built in the early/mid 1800s and owned by one of the Mexican Ranchers who owned the whole Southbay from Redondo Beach and East including Hawthorne, Lawndale, Inglewood Westchester, Playa Del Rey, El Segundo ,Manhattan, Hermosa Beaches and it was all cattle ranch. Then a wealthy Sottish (i think or Welsh) man from the Eastern U.S. with lots of money named Daniel Freeman came to Los Angeles and purchased the ranch and over the years sold off parcels and the different cities were formed.
Daniel Freeman Hospital is where I was born and lots of other people on the Westside. They demolished the hospital back in the 1990s i believe. It was located on Prarie near Manchester across the street from Inglewood Park Cemetary and the Forum.
The Adobe house was privately owned when I was a kid and it was always kinda spooky because it was so old. Then in order to help with the upkeep it was registered as a historical landmark and then the City of Inglewood took possesion buying or it was donated to them to preserve the property and buildings. It's located on Midfield Ave in the residential neighborhood of Westchester but strangely the street it is located on is split, one side of the street the addresses are Los Angeles 90045 and across the street is The City of Inglewood. And the property's backyards back up against the 405 freeway and the Centinela Creek.
It's a cool place with a rich history from the early years when Mexico still owned California.
It is fenced in with security gates so you have to make an appointment for a tour.

It was only a couple of years ago you could still go inside of the generator room, and the stables were still standing and you could go in there as well

Wow! Great shots & production! If I came up on that site I would have never imagined it to be a Nazi (National Socialist) base here in CA! 😱
