I played the video on one monitor, and followed along with my project on the other. I started and stopped the video with literally each piece of instruction. My results were perfect on my first attempt. Wow! Thanks! Now I know how to do this. I have done a couple more with great results.Really cool.
I have many of your excellent instructional videos in my YT Library. Scrolling through those earlier to get to this, I was saved by the thumbnail image on the clip. Reading the title, I wondered if it could may be reworded/ shortened. My regards.
Hi Sy, my titles are carefully crafted to get specific results in CZcams search. I have this down to a science. The thumbnails get the clicks, the title gets the search position.
@@symunir9022 HI Sy, you're welcome! You won't see this on CZcams but the name of the video file is also long and designed for placement, same thing for the name of the thumbnail. A good part of my time on each video is crafting it technically in such a way that CZcams gives me good visibility in search. it isn't luck or viewer popularity that has my videos almost always in spot 1-3 on almost any CZcams Photoshop Elements search, it is all the careful optimization work. I consider that just as important as the content of the videos, without good search placement no one would ever see my videos. Sad but true.
Great video George, the most important part of those portraits would be to get the eyes correct. There are a lot of ways to do this, however this seems to be the fastest and most accurate. Thank you as always for the tip, this will work just fine! Rich
You're welcome Rich. One step I left out to keep the video short would be to put a Levels Adjustment Layer above the Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer clipped to the eyes layer. That would allow you to adjust the lightness or darkness of the eyes without losing contrast which is what happens if you use the Lightness control in Hue/Saturation. George
Hi George, On Feb 20, 2017 you posted a tutorial demonstrating Portrait Eye Color Change. June, 2018 you provided a video demonstrating Eye Color Change using an adjustment layer. Is it personal preference which process to use or is there a rule of thumb based on the photo which technique to use? Thx.
Just personal preference. I figured it had been a while since I last did that tutorial so I figured out a different way to do it. Basically, and this goes for everything in PSE, whichever works best for you
Could you please make a tutorial on how to make the color glitch effect (separating RGB in certain areas) in Elements 2018? I found some tutorials on CZcams, but I couldn't find any for Elements 2018. Thank you! :)
Hi, great idea for a video. The color glitch effect in Adobe Photoshop is usually done using Channels. Since Photoshop Elements doesn't have access to channels a different approach would be required and the channel look would have to be faked a bit but it can be done. I will see what I can come up with. George
