I have been actually scammed on one of these. But the cover, except from the box (which is a little smaller) is identical. It's just less weighty and more flexible around the charge hole, but apart from this details I couldn't notice. moreover it has some plastic smell actually. I was shocked discovering it was a fake.

I just got a silicone case for my iphone x and it doesnt have an apple logo or the «iphone» text inside of the case.. is it fake?
One thing I noticed is that on the real case the wallet stays on better and 2 the real case at bottom the edge is firmer vs the fake by the charging port
That’s exactly what I was getting ready to comment, I bought a real one and then a fake marigold colored one on Amazon, and that’s what I noticed the firmness of the sides. The real one I couldn’t flex on the sides but the fake I could flex. But all around they was very similar. I feel the texture of the fake one was a little more… rougher feeling slightly. Not as smooth and the bottoms stuck out just a little smidge more
is the bottom where the lighntning connector is also so flexible on the original?

I just recently bought two of these AliExpress cases and it’s crazy how well they work and are identical to the original Apple cases, even down to the MagSafe animation and the box/packaging. I liked them so much I ended up going back on the site and ordered 3 more 😂I didn’t give over $8 for any of them. Definitely a steal 👍🏻
Bought a silicone case online for $20 (came with the original packaging, great magnets, does the colored animation when installed). I have no idea if it’s fake now 😂

Will it affect any sensors in the case
I washed it once and it takes too long to get dry from the inside and after that it sometimes doesn't make animations.

In my opinion, I think it is fine to run the silicone or clear case under water to clean in (I wouldn’t soak the leather one), but you should make sure that it is 100% dry before you try to charge with the case again.
The animation only happens when your phone is in the lock screen or when it is not lit up. If your phone is on the home screen when you put your case on, it won’t do the animation lol hope that helps!

Does dust or lint sticks same on the fake case? What about the feeling of the case any difference between orig and fake case?
Yes, they look the same, feel the same, and collect fuzzies exactly the same! The only difference is there’s no MagSafe animation, and getting the case on without any wrinkles on the inside can be annoying.

I never thought dust/lint was a problem or annoying or distracting. It’s just that the leather and plastic cases would not collect any dust. So it’s something to note with rubbery, grippy cases like the silicone one. I wouldn’t say it gets less with time, but it’s barely even a thing to notice. I’d say if you want silicone, go for it, you’ll like it a lot. 😎 and no problem, that’s what I’m here for!

@@nickylicky94 I’ve seen some of the off brand MagSafe chargers make the charging animation. But none of the off brand cases or wallets have made the animation. I think that is unique to Apple only.

No, the animation does not work with the fake case. I’ve seen the animation work with my fake magsafe chargers, but no animation with my fake cases and wallets.

I honestly gave the video a like mainly because of the Trump voice animation lol! How did you configure it? By the way would you still recommend the fake one over the original one? I’m on the fence on wether to get the real vs fake black one for my 12 Pro Max. Currently rocking a fake plum which isn’t half bad.

The only thing you’re missing is the fake case won’t do the animation. If that doesn’t bother you, you’ll be fine with the fake lol
The inside of the case is usually imperfect. But man, 3 minutes with some fiddeling to get it to fit is totally worth the 5 bucks I paid for it. lol.

Is the blue fake one you got the exact same color as the real one?
Yes the fake is navy blue. You can see in the beginning, the 2 boxes next to eachother (identical). And towards the end 7:03 you can see a good clip where is looks darker. They are identical in color!

No extra issues with the fake case. I’ve had some trouble with iPhone getting hot while I’m using it with MagSafe but that happens regardless of case.. lol and overheating will cause it to slowly charge too
