I broke down crying telling my wife about this song. We have had a really tough year; we welcomed our fourth child into the world, but she has serious health conditions that she will carry the rest of her life. Our marriage has been in a hard place, much of that due to the stress from helping our baby girl with her condition. I told my wife that I felt so small and everything else seemed so big; it just seemed impossible that we could ever thrive again. But, this song perfectly connected with both how I felt and with the truth that the Lord is our peace. He has delivered us from our trials before, and He'll do it again. Shalom.

In counseling now to work through my personal issues, but I think my wife and I have made a big breakthrough between us and we are getting closer to some lasting solutions for our baby girl 👶, not things that will cure her but at least make her day to day life less perilous. I had a rough day yesterday and I could not sleep much last night because of all the "noises of life" that have been going on around me. At 4am this morning, the Holy Spirit placed this song on my heart reminding me that HE is my Peace! As I listen to it now (on repeat), and really listening to the lyrics, I feel the presence of the Lord calming me and letting me know all is well. I can face the day ahead knowing that HE is my Shalom! Thank you, Jesus. May God bless Bridge Worship for ministering this worship song!! 🙏🏾🙌🏾💯

I have heard this at our church, The Crossing Church in Tampa! It has a special meaning for me because two years ago I was diagnosed with testicular cancer and was going to one of my appointments and I heard a voice, which was so clear and I can still hear today, that said "Trust in Him and He will bring you out of the storm". I trusted in Him and He brought me out of the storm!!! Because of this, every time I hear "You are not afraid of this battle. You are still at rest through every storm." I immediately start sobbing! .....SHALOM, YOU'RE MY PEACE!!!
