However, Nery is a proven big puncher so it's not clear if Nery dropped Inoue because of weight or if Nery simply droppfed him because he hits hard and drops most of his opponents. If Inoue got dropped by a light puncher at 122, these guys' analysis would make more sense. Then Teddy starts with the Pacquiao comparisons followed by clear insinuations , as usual, that Pacquiao was on performance enhancing drugs. I don’t like how Probox TV doesn’t report the right information about Canelo. Canelo accepted the William Scoll fight, but he’s going to fight him later this year and is basically paying him step-aside money, which means Canelo is fighting someone else in September! Probox always does this type of stuff with Canelo. A couple of weeks ago, they said that Canelo was going to fight Terence Crawford, but Canelo clearly said he had nothing to gain from it and wasn’t going to fight him. Yet, they said Crawford would beat Canelo and David would beat Canelo. How does that make sense? They rave about fighters like Tank Davis, but he fights completely no one, yet Paulie said he’s great. It’s funny how they make all these excuses for Benavides about how damaging it could be of him moving up and down in weight. Canelo did it twice and he’s older than Benavides. But they don’t ever mention that. And if Benavides really wanted the Canelo fight, why did he go to 175 instead of waiting and enforcing his mandatory status? But from what I’ve been hearing from Benavides, it seems like he knows something is going on behind the scene that the media isn’t aware of. Inoue was Fulton and Nery last fight before moving up to Feather so really he already felt what a feather feels like. I do think he may get challenged at Feather.
I remember him saying he don't duck anybody, then proceeds to duck GGG to fight Amir Khan at MW. After that he said he was too small to fight at MW to not use a catch weight but fought Chavez at Super middleweight. After that when GGG was finally showing sign of slowing down he stepped in the ring with him, and still got his ass handed to him. The whole world saw him get whooped and saved by the judges. Then, he got caught cheating, then 2 years later when GGG was even older and slower, he at best fought to a draw but was the only one to get hurt or touch the ropes in that fight and we saw the judges save him again.
Finally, when GGG was over 40 with ring rust he beat him fair and square in a very close fight.
Canelo is the most over hyped boxer in my lifetime.

Canelo said he doesn't need to fight Benavidez because he's only beat 1 champion Anthony Dirrell. Since then he's beat 4 former world champs in a row. Lemieux, Plant, Andrade & Gvozdyk. William Scull is still fighting in 8 rounders. Both Benavidez (WBC) & Scull (IBF) are Mandatories for Canelo. Canelo vs Benavidez is also the biggest fight to make in boxing. It should be a simple fight to make on paper.

I think if Nick Ball is still champion at that point he should be the front runner, he has the most exciting style at Featherweight and is also actually smaller in height than Inoue. It is also possible that Ball will have the other two belts by this time as there has been rumours of a rematch with Rey Vargas the WBC Champ, who many people think he already beat. I think if Top Rank want to go in house then Luis Alberto Lopez for me would be the fight to make. Lopez is also super exciting but has already been beaten and he too is a similar size to Inoue.
