- Welcome to another Tuesday Tip video. Today, I'm sharing tips for how to improve your indoor air quality. Poor air quality, particularly indoors, has been linked to a slew of health issues, including cancer. So, how can you make the air in your home the cleanest it can be?

After 1 1/2 yrs of construction on my house(it was lifted) I finally moved in a few months ago. I know this may sound odd but I have a salty taste in my mouth, only when am home. It happens immediately when I walk in the door. We had new duct work installed and HVAC system. I checked for Freon leaks , it was negative. I definitely smell a slight odor as well! Not mold, so not sure what it can be. Can you make any suggestions as to what type of testing I should have done? Also , my house is located on a bay. Thank you
You used to recommend to your patients and use a Molekule in your office in Albany/Berkeley . Do you not recommend them or use them anymore?
Would certain plants taken as supplement powders such as Chlorella help with the detoxification process within the body? My understanding is that Chlorella is helpful for heavy metal exposure from the diet or dental work. I wonder if it helps in other ways?
What about house plants - do they contribute to significantly better air quality?
Hello, I wanted to tell you that I used to have so many house plants and my mother and grandmother also did and they do have clean the air, some more than others I know foliage plants clean your hair a lot and eucalyptus that’s really good I think it’s an anti-bacterial anti-microbial, I have lung issues, asthma, but I also got Covid so now I’m on oxygen and my oxygen machine has mold growing inside of it, I called my doctor and the people he ordered from several times, it comes with a little container where you can put water in it like a vaporizer so it doesn’t dry out your nostrils.
I noticed my throat started itching and my eyes I’m having trouble with my eyes I had very good vision before this, anyway he keeps giving me antibiotics for chronic sinusitis, but I know it’s not bacterial it’s fungal, I am highly allergic to mold and I looked in there with a flashlight and I seen it growing in there because whoever had it before me Musta used it humidifier, I don’t use it.
I hope you can understand what I’m saying, because I have to use a magnifying glass because of my eyesight and I’m on my cell phone I know that’s not good for my eyes, but I just had to come here to tell you about this.
I have to use the microphone and Siri doesn’t understand my accent after all these years lol I try to keep a sense of humor about what is happened to me I know I’m gonna be all right so I’m not really worried about it.
The story about the plants, well my mom and grandma and aunt and uncles all smoked a lot nonfilter cigarettes one after another and their plants grew really crazy I went to the library and hooked up air quality in plants, and you know whatever that is it when people smoke is it carbon dioxide I’m not sure but plants really like that a lot so now I think green thumb means you’re a smoker not really because their flowers and everything outside grew just as well. I hope this helps you a little, I had to end up buying me a favor five stage air purifier it takes out for Melda Hyde in oh zone mode virus and it really does work the one I got is called oxy pure you get 10 years of HEPA filters free, and the other four filters you can clean out the ones that attract some kind of ions.
Oh I wanted to mention it cost me $700 but the free filters HEPA filters for 10 years sold me on it, and they let me pay over 12 months without interest. Believe me it’s really worth it because I’m disabled now and it’s hard for me to stand up And it’s hard for me to even cook so they started cleaning but this is the first time I had an air cleaner that actually kept us from my furniture of course you have to dust your house real good first by any thing in the air it grabs it out of there and I don’t sell air cleaner so I’m just telling you this it’s really great I am fact I think I’m gonna purchase me another one even though this covers 1000 ft.² and I only live in about 700 ft.² I still like the idea of it being by my front door when people come in so they can grab that virus real quick.
