"impresive,most impresive". :)
i like your comment. be healthy. :)
Even in 30 000 years in the future.
A thousand years from now in the World History Museum there will be an exhibit called The 1980s. It will have two main items: a car (probably a Chrysler K-car) and Situation playing on a continuous loop.

Music built up to a crescendo in the 80s.
You know something Jose you right you gotdam right sir salute n God bless
Heard this only one time back in 1983, I tried to find it for just over 3 decades. Until now, worth the long search.
HYT IN 1939 OK
BLUE EYED DRESSED FOR EVERY SITUATIONNNNN
There's sooo many versions of this song! I remember finding the 12' on vinyl! Extended dance mix!
Those used records stores back in the day were so much fun! Great band! Depeche Mode may be your taste as well? New Order? Have you seen the movie High Fidelity? ;)
i know that feeling bro!
I first heard it on a pub juke box in 1982 as the b-side of 'Only You', it was ok... then Francois Kevorkian remixed it into this monster.
My aunt blasted this song while driving in her trans am. I will never forget it.
That, my friend, is cool as fuck.
A BREAKDANCE REVIVAL COULD OCCUR TO THIS SONG
Love this comment so much!!!’!
I remember things like that. Leaves a imprint in our memories.
Wish I was there
THIS SONG IS STILL A PURE CLASSIC AFTER 39 YEARS.
Always has been and it certainly always will be! Love it!
It really is! 👍🏻
Yes it is ,club song, hit the dance floor.
It sure is..I used to Dance 2 it at Studio 54
Thanks for making me feel old LOL. I remember this like it was yesterday.
I danced my ass off to this song in the 80's, always thought it was a guy singing this, but it's Alison Moyet...what a voice!
It seriously does. It's kind of like Believe by Cher. Never heard of her before first listen and assumed it was a guy singing
She's frigging amazing
This song came out the September after yours truly graduated high school and for years my thought was it was a Male vocalist as well! It was around 2008-9 that it was revealed that the Allison Moyet was the vocalist! Looooove this song!
I never danced to this song, but I sure did blast it at full volume while driving my '79 Trans AM!
You know it was until very recently that I as well came to this very same reality. 🤣😂🤣😂😎
Guys, can you believe it's been 40 years?
The 80s were so magical I’m BEYOND thrilled that I was able to experience it and man did I have a helluva time
I don’t want to think about it. I was born 71 🤦♂️
I wish I aged as well as this absolutely genius song
Long live the 80's......😉👍✌️

Took me 4 years to find this song.
When I'm getting ready to go out I play this song as loud as I can without blowing my speakers. Whether it's 9pm or 1am. I cannot understand anyone who doesn't like this song. In my opinion this song is ahead of it's time & we are days away from 2020. I used to think I would be dead by now. Somehow I'm still kicking it despite being born in 1966

I can remember when I was a 7 year old in 1982, hearing this song on the radio for the very first time. I was in the car with my grandma and cousin. It was a Sunday morning. That's how deeply I connected with this pop tune LOL
Lol u have a very good memory sir very nostalgic song for you I see and it's catchy
shortly you come back to 80's...as me
And now you're 50 years old and just as cool as your grandma was back in those days.

Vince Clark , playing the Synths, an Ex Depechemode member, and founder , what a Genius !! He also formed Erasure, this guy is such a Legend !! Vince Clarke ,what a Genius. !!

Alison Moyet & Vince Clarke - The Dream Team! ❤
Get up and dance! gives me energy even at 61 :)
We listened to this 100s of times on repeat in my dorm room in 1983.
Im 36 and still jam out to this. All the 80s stuff my parents never stopped listening to. They made it a part of my childhood
You are blessed to have cool evolved parents....
I had forgotten this gem The 80’s still rule the airways
Can’t be topped ❤

80's and 90's, for me; that music has a firm grip on my ears, and won't let go.

As they did back then. How many mornings did I come back home just to shower and change and go to work! Loved the 80s

@__ You must live in France or another 'lost world'. Fort Laud. was/is 'dance club central.....at least in the 80's-mid 90's. Get over it.
I agree, brilliant music.
Best hook melody ever made unbeatable yes....
One of the best songs of the 80s
lol you haven’t heard many 80’s songs then
Used to listen to this song in 86 all the time on 12 inch vinyl. Also it was played on the radio. 1986 was a special summer. Actuall every 80s summer was special..
They were amazing. Nobody filming our dodgy dance moves either 😂
Still sound so damn good 🎉after 40 years God bless the 80’s
vince is a fukking genius. his sound and her voice were waaayyy ahead of the curve of what we call synthpop
The 2 of them together is absolute magic. Perfection.
@@Ozziemints They really were the best and I love Depeche Mode and New Order !
Depeche Mode wasn't his place, but he found his own path and still was able to create fine classy music 🎵🎶
Dont fuck with me 2024 they were wayyyyyy ahead of their time.
This damn tune is almost 40 years old and yet it can STILL get me up and dancing.
Brava.
I miss this stuff.
Listening to it now shows how good Vince Clarke songwriting is, timeless. Alison Moyet's bluesy voice added that extra something that set Yazoo apart from that era.

Para los que pasamos de los 50 años, disfrutar esta musica es remontarnos a nuestra juventud.
Even now, some songs make me want to put on roller skates and fly around a rink, leaning into the curves like a sport bike.
Nuestro espíritu sigue joven, el cuerpo tan solo es el chasis.. Yeahh
It's Synthpop with a almost...early EBM touch to it... Almost has a Front 242 sound to it. Truly a head of its time. I live for this music.
My uncle was born in 1945. He used to listen this song so often growing up that he wore off the objective lense of his record player. He died of SARS in '02.
We'll never forget you Tiffany! 😢
Omg!!! Went dancing to this song in the clubs many times back in the great 80s!!! Absolutely love this song!!! Got everyone on the dance floor every time!! They don't make songs like this anymore!! Everything is so boring now especially with politics!! If you're depressed put this song on and start dancing!!!❤
ANOTHER 80"S CLASSIC!! 80"S MUSIC RULES!! the dj

"Blue eyed dressed for every situation
Moving through the doorway of a nation
Pick me up and shake the doubt
Baby I can't do without
Move out, don't mess around
Move out, you bring me down
Move out, how you get about
Don't make a sound just move out
I remember only for an hour
Move right through me can you feel the power
I don't know what's going on
It scares me but it won't be long
Move out, don't mess around
Move out, you bring me down
Move out, how you get about
Don't make a sound just move out
Now he's in control he is my lover
Nations stand against him he's your brother
Been a long time, been a long time now
I'll get to you somehow
Move out, don't mess around
Move out, you bring me down
Move out, how you get about
Don't make a sound just move out
Move out, don't mess around
Move out, you bring me down
Move out, how you get about
Don't make a sound just move out

Yazhoo still love this band in my 50s

This and 'Don't Go' .. 2 best club songs , Both on same album!. Both topped USA club charts and instantly filled dance floors. Two songs people most anticipated to get the place going. Vince best synth pop genius, Moyet best female vocalist.
'Upstairs At Eric's 'one of the best, most soulful albums of all time. Includes greatest ballad 'Only You and 'Midnight' This was my album of the 80's personally. It mimicked my life through those years.
"goodbye 70s" was also a huge one but maybe not as popular as those u mentioned - listen to it now and u will understand my point :D
@@100noga .. Yes 4 Sure my friend ! Thanks for making note of that ! Also meant to add that their 2nd album
'You And Me Both" was incredible as well ... My 2 favorite albums of the '80's and really 2 of the best all time!
I have always loved this CD. Alison Moyet is just like Annie Lennox; distinctive and powerful!
I remember hearing this a couple times back in the 80s then basically forgot about it. Fast forward to 2017 and hearing it on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. Track is an absolute banger if you ask me
Yazhoo are brillant still love them in my 50s
love her voice
Agreed!! Where is she now????
Yesss
I refuse to believe this video has only been played a couple hundred thousand times, only shows how commercial depending music is. This song is an absolute masterpiece, you could put the tune in a futuristic exposition TODAY and it would work great, the vision put into this is priceless and just takes my admiration for British artists to another level. Sublime job
Heck I must've played the record 200,000 times when it first came out in 1982
Well if it makes you feel better this song and “don’t go” lime album is played throughout Chicago in classic house music! Chicago is the only city that plays these type of music that got me addicted to it!
I met this song in the mid-late 80's. Did our stupid aerobics thing in PE my senior year to it. I choreographed. lol Then cleaned houses as a side weekend job, needed this song. So fun to clean house to it! So love it still. My son disabled hears it and says MOM.
MOM! Mommommom! MOM ! Turn it down!!
Wait, no turn it UP!
WOW!!
This brings back a ton of great memories. Love the band and I loved the 1980s!!

So ahead of their time, reminds me of every 80's movie in that time period. Great song.
This song is the reference point for the 80s synthesizer....Classic and still kicks ass!
Coolest part is that Vince Clarke used one synth on the entire album and created totally different sounds for each song. Classic Prophet Pro-One! So good!
Oh my, went way back. The best of our lives!
Bloody love this song
I remember this used to play all the time on long car trips when I was a kid.
My parents were teens during the 80’s, so they grew up with music like this.
I remember hearing this and being confused as to of whether or not the singer was a guy or not. Of course my parents told me that I wasn’t the only one.
No, you weren't the only one. I was also confused: Man or woman? Sometimes, I still think, _Maybe I am a woman_ ?
The 80’s and 90’s were it for me at least . Music at it’s Best !
It got a little rough in the late 80's (and slightly into the 90's), but other than that, I agree.
I always use this song when I DJ. The dance floor goes crazy.
