I couldn’t agree more with your opinion. Manipulation to try and get lemmings to follow so they can make a profit. They pay a journalist to write the article so the whole group profits and then dumps the stock once it hits their price target. Makes me wonder what the analyst or the hedge fund the analyst is managing’s position is. My guess is that they are bearish and around $100-110.

He replied in another comment that said he missed the big gains. So my guess is he only invests when he believes there's a large earning potential in a certain period of time. But I would like to know as well. My guess is he doesn't like to talk much about his personal stuff.....just focus on the facts because it can make his info appear biased. So I respect that.
That contradicts to Parkev’s view that Nvidia still has good value & good potential as the earnings are constantly being revised upward. So it means it’s still not late to find an entry point to buy whenever the stock has a correction like now!
I thought he said he had a few stocks but very little. In fact, stock analysts & bankers are allowed to hold the stocks but they just need to declare whenever they publish a report or do analysis.

@@kat22mick combination of both. However it doesn't mean buying it at around 120 area is too high if you can nibble there. Even if it goes lower, you are still going to come on the top eventually. For those who are patient and not in fear of missing out, those price points (100 and 90 areas) are a possibility in the future.

Yeah 125$ is a bit high for now average value should be 100-110$ but it's still a good price. Next earnings'll tell us the direction upside or downside.

I believe Q2-Q4 will have amazing earnings and will push nvidia to $250-$300 at the end of 2024 but will correct before Q1 2025 due to growth percentage dropping.

If you add everything up.
P/E, outstanding shares, market cap, eps, total revenues, cash on hand and net change in cash, youll see that nvdia is essentially priced as it should be, even with a 5x multiple of current valuations, which is quite generous but acceptable under market standards. So id say its a hold now.
I agree I did my own DCF even at 40% growth it’s very high and also unrealistic. The fair value is around 125. The stock is fairly valued. I would like to see a correction though

I bought Nvidia in 2021 and have 130 shares. I’m going to sell off 80% add a big profit and move into Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and AMD. Maybe also Chat ETF and a Cybersecurity ETF

This stock is clearly being manipulated. To what end, I am unsure. But there is zero explanation for the erratic price action the past week or so. The initial dip a couple of weeks ago made sense, since it was profit taking. But it’s been up and down erratically intraday ever since, and nothing at all has changed about the financials/technicals of the company or market in that time. In addition, I’ve had stop loss orders triggered a few times the past 2 weeks where it dipped below my trigger for literally a few seconds before rising again. It seems to me that big players are increasing the volatility of this stock in order to both dissuade retail investors from buying or holding it, as well as to try to gobble up those retail shares by probing stop loss levels. My $.02 as a complete newbie investor, but nothing else makes sense to me about NVDA’s price action the last 2 weeks.

its a new field nobody knows what it is going to do. but nvidia does make great video cards that power other computers that are used for other tasks besides AI and digital currency.
From a technical perspective, I can understand the neutral rating. 14 day RSI around 57 bollinger bands indicate a breakout -we dont know what direction-its come down from massive overbought territory with a 14 day RSI/slow stochastic oscillator in the 70s -80s and the month of July is usually very bullish.
Under normal circumstances, I wouldnt buy NVDA until it was around 110 but I think its ok to start cautiously accumulating with an exit strategy if tou didnt buy near the lows.
The rising 14 day slow stochastic oscillator has me convinced. 12% NVDL(NVDA 2x leveraged) combined with SOXL.
Waiting to go 50% adding on dips. The blast off isnt over until the end of the month. It seems like buyers are buying every dip before they get slammed in September.
As an investor for Nvidia , we only want to see better than expected earnings & also better guidance with better than expected growth rate for every quarter, its stock price will rocket to moon 🎉. We can only bet on it to see
NVDA will succumb to economic pressures over the next year or two and the B2B sells that are making this tech bubble skyrocket will ultimately give way to weakening consumer spending. It’s a $90 stock, at best. That’s even if you trust their books, and I really don’t.

I am first
AMD's claim in this market is that they also are producing GPUs. AMD's problem is that their development ecosystem just sucks. NVDA's CUDA development platform has been honed since 2006. If you are involved in serious AI development, chances are you learned on CUDA. If you are hiring to start up a new AI company, your candidates will want to have NVDA and CUDA. The alternatives are still being developed and debugged, and trying them will potentially be a distraction. None of the others are producing AI hardware.
The downgrade is designed to create churn.
Nvidia is only a chip DESIGN company, we know from public declarations that NVIDIA is using AI to design better chips and software at faster paces. Does the others competitors using Artificial Intelligence in the same extent? I don’t know but this seems to be the key aspect for future validation of actual prices.
For the future, I don't think that any company would destroy their own golden goose. The profit margins should be sustained especially for the manufacturers.
