Hunger Games-absolutely yes! I had a hard time deciding to read it YEARS ago when my kids were younger-the concept was “icky”, but now (after multiple reads) and my youngest is now 16, I still love them, both girls have read them and watched the movies and the new one is on the calendar as a movie date for the 3 of us. I recently reading finished The Ballad…and it was not what I expected, but enjoyed it. I keep debating getting Away We Ride. It’s gorgeous!
I just finished it and I liked it! Def not as good as the original trilogy, but I think it's gonna make a great movie!

I love that fabric! Instead of frogging and stitching on a new fabric, I would try and use the darker floss where your other light floss is. I do it all the time and it seems to work.
I've already restarted it! The good news is I have plenty of projects that will look great on the flannel flower, so it won't go to waste!
I love the quote you’ve used - fantastic! Also loved your cat bloopers LOL Fergus is a hoot! I would urge you to read “Wish You Were Here” by Jodi Picoult. A little romance but a really good story set in the very early days of the pandemic. It’s been my fave read of the last couple years. - take care, Nic x

I will be at weekend A so excited to hear you will be there as well. I am working on getting a couple of patterns to the Phil in stage so I have just filling to do at Stitchcon I have four projects are ready at that stage and I’m working on another one now so I should be good to go. My roommate and I are going to get there two days early and then we’re staying an extra day after so will be there for almost a week. But we have lots of things to plan to do while we’re there. I hope you have a great time it’ll be my fifth Stitchcon and I’ve always had a great time

Ok you really did it with the Vicki Clayton silks - the Away We Ride ones are amazing and I need them for when I start it! Also I started Garden Sampler this weekend, so hop on any time! I got 100 pages into Priory and then went on vacation in like February so you’ve motivated me to take another crack at it 💪

After watching you for almost a year, this month I ordered my first piece of 40ct fabric. I thought I was way tooooo old to see those tiny holes but I loved seeing all your dainty one over one pieces so I took the plunge and ordered a fat quarter of Mallow from 123stitch. Omg! I love it. I bought a second piece. First it’s so economical, less then $12. I’m doing Night Walked Down and The Glad Sun both by The Blue flower. I feel like I stitch faster, probably because you more stitches per thread and one over two makes my stitches look AMAZING. I never would have considered it if I hadn’t seen some of your WIP’s on the higher counts fabrics.

I stopped stitching & reading to watch your video as I don't want to miss a second. Am stitching a Quilting Lady & reading "Laura" . Those sisscors remind me that I used to buy a 1/2 dozen pairs of small ones when they put out the school stuff every Aug/Sept. I know it is an old project if it has it own pair. (they used to be 2 for a $1 -- those were the days !!)

I’ve been wanting to reread the Hunger Games too! I rewatched the movies about a year ago and they’re still really good. The Hunger Games reignited my love of reading about 15 years ago 😱
