i absolutely loved this book from start to finish. it depicts the chaos of romance and theatre very well, and the representation is great! it doesn’t feel awkward or forced, instead depicting the ups and downs of questioning in a believable way. a great read, i highly recommended :)
The scene where Justin is mad isn’t the actors and stage crew not getting along, it’s when he doesn’t get the part he wanted in the show. Believe me, I know this book inside out
My fav part was that jesse stepped out of his comfert zone and kissed west that part blew me in a good way tho the scene was beautiful when the whole page was just jesse and west. ... In the spotlight

I've always shipped them from the start. I mean, I can appreciate the LGBTQ+ characters, but I always felt that Cal and Jesse were made for each other!!!!! (JUSTIN IS MY FAV!) Jesse is a close second. I just always feel like I relate to him more. I've always been modest when I see really good work from someone I wouldn't expect. And I want the people in my life to get the best they can achieve! But even though I'm more of an onstage guy, I'd LOVE to be on stage crew. Particularly stage design like Callie. I HATE people who are stuck up and only talk about themselves, kind like how "Greg" (Callie) describes Bonnie. Also I ship Justin and Loren so hard! Though Justin and Liz are a close sec.

This book came out when I was two, I'm about to turn 11 now and I absolutely love her books I have every single one including share your smile! Whoever doesn't have any of her books need to buy some they're amazing!

Whaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttt???????? I think it's great for all audiences, as it teaches younger kids to respect gay people by incorporating LGBTQ+ characters into the mix! And making them likable!

Anyways this is one my favorite book for opening up gay characters to younger readers. I always enjoy reading Raina Telgemeier graphic novels and I even tried to collect them all until seventh grade.
