Thank you, I did the gps and spelling today and knowing you only need about 36/70 to pass, while I'm confident in both subjects just boosted my confidence
That pass mark was for 2023 not 2024 you will need a different amount of marks to pass this time. I think the pas mark will be higher as this one was easier.
Thanks for the video. I was kind of falling down at the last ten questions of the GPS paper.. But it was pretty simple. But the funny thing was like half of the class were asking the teacher which test it was 🤣 Hope everyone does well tomorrow 🤞

This is a year 6 student speaking here with another tip! Read the text first, it may seem like a hassle but it really helps a lot to do it, you can look a questions and go like 'Oh it doesn't tell me where to find it in the text but I remember it could be on this page or this paragraph' this is a time saver, You can also just read the first page then read the other half when more questions appear about the other half! My SPaG test was pretty helpfulthank to TD tutoring and my schools resources, I revised using a paper the school gave me at breakfast and, I normally get confused on different types of questions but I found it easy! It's never to late to revise. Also I would choose B because even if you have a good method I don't think you will have enough time to write 2 impressions and 2 evidence for A, but B can be finished easily, and like Dylan said, you don't need to do the 3 mark questions if it's too tricky for you! Hopefully this helps all my fellow Year 6 students going through examinations! Good luck 🤞

Guys just a reminder that SATs don’t determine your life. I’m in year 8 and in the reading paper I got 103 (which I was very disappointed about) and in the SPAG i got 119. I was put into set 3 English in year 7 then got moved up to Set 2 in year 8 and I am currently the highest achiever in my class projected to move to set 1 in September. I used to hate reading and now I find it so easy. SATs may have an effect on what sets you get put into in year 7 but you can always make progress and move up. Good luck year 6!
