  • Malida is a traditional Bhora Sweet delicacy made specially during Eid Ul Adha..
    This is a winter delicacy and is specially given to kids as it involves pure ghee which in turn gives warmth.
    This sweet exists in many cultures from Bhoras,Memons,Parsis with some variations.
    My version is adapted from my friend Fatema's recipe where she adds eggs to the dough and belive me this turns out superb.

    Ingridents
    FOR MUTHIA
    1.Whole wheat flour 1 œ cup
    2.Suji œ cup
    3.Milk powder 2 tbsp
    4.Pure ghee 4 tbsp
    5 Milkœ cup + rosewater 2 tbsp
    6.Eggs 2
    FOR FRYING
    7.Pure Ghee 1 cup
    8.Gond /Gundam/Gum 100 grms
    9.Jaggery 400 grm
    10.Raisins 2 tbsp
    11.Pistachios slivered 1 tbsp
    12.Almonds slivered 2 tbsp
    13.Few Rose petals
    14.Cream 2 tbsp
    15.Slivered nuts for garnish
