Embassy Suites NYC Times Square Room Tour

While visiting New York City for Spring Break, we stayed at the Embassy Suites Times Square on 37th Street. Located just steps from Herald Square, this hotel was one of our favourites in the Big Apple. Here is a tour of our room.

Great review. Thinking about staying with my teen this summer but very hesitant as I’m not familiar with the area so safety is my number one priority. Of course a great location, but looks like it is so that’s a plus! Your feedback would be appreciated!

This hotel is close to everything. It’s just a couple blocks from Macy’s, a 5 minute walk to Times Square and just down from Bryant Park. Lots of quick dining options around the corner as well. The city is very busy and there are lots of different people in and around the hotel. We have never had any issues with safety while staying at this location. I would not recommend any of the hotels across from or around the port authority. We find that location has more issues. We visit NYC many times a year and we like this location a lot.

I was gonna stay at the New Yorker but this hotel looks so much better, do you know how far of a walk it is to Penn station?

It’s about a 10 minute walk. This hotel is located on 37th and 6th. Penn. station is on 34th.

Great review, I'm planning to stay here, do you have to pay a resort fee, right? Is there any other additional fee?

I believe there is a $25-30 fee but it comes back to you in the form of a bar or restaurant credit. It’s expires at the end of each day and can’t be combined if you’re staying multiple nights.

How far is the walk to The All shopping lights???

This hotel was just one block from Macys and Herald square so very close to good shopping and dining. It was a fantastic location. We will definitely stay here again.

How did the pull out couch end up working out? :)

It was good. You could actually put two people on it. The bed had a bit of a dip in it but the teen was ok with it:)
