Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

Most miserable night ever. I know the feeling. Had a similar experience once... I went for a day hike. About 15km. But I started a bit late and it was harder than I expected. It was a lovely, sunny early Spring day. I had a good jacket, a lighter, a pocket knife, a tin of stew, and plenty of water. I was about 10km in when it started getting dark and I realised I didn't bring a torch. I wasn't worried about being lost, I knew where I was, but I was worried about falling off a cliff in the dark, so I decided to camp till morning.
You could truly see the excitement in his eyes when he said "it's going to get cold" it's all about perspective.
Clearly he was a MEGA FOX when younger, and he is now ruggedly handsome. Love that hair. And I pick him for my team.
Your humor about poking branches, campfire placement and the lumpy jacket is naturally refreshing and enjoyable.
One thing I love about these videos is you explain what you're doing, why you're doing it and some of the things you've learned from not doing it. One thing that annoys me about a lot of bushcraft videos is they're always silent with no talking about why they're doing something. Keep up the good work!
