- I know a lot of you have questions on how and why Zo is fed through a tube attached to his stomach, so I made a short vlog so I could spread awareness to everyone on what's it like to feed a PEG (tube feeding) patient.

Salute to the one of the strongest mums I’ve watched on here. This gave me a flashback during my 2 yrs of struggle feeding my son diagnosed with Down Syndrome and Dyskinetic Cerebral Palsy. Had several major surgeries such as open heart surgery and intestinal surgery. Although we had private nurses to do all the jobs for him like tube feeding, the constant worry of getting aspirated traumatised me bad. Now that he’s pretty much out of the woods and getting well day by day, I truly know what you’re going through right now. The private nurses are gone so my husband and I are looking after him now. It is not a joke having kids with special needs as your life’s dedicated to look after them 24/7. We seldom have time to celebrate our special moments with my husband alone as we couldn’t leave our kids by themselves. We have 2 kids with special needs and that alone is exhausting but we’ve got no choice but to do and give what’s best for them. Stay strong Jana and praying one day everything will turn out well for you and your son.

Been watching you mommy jana in tiktok kasi may anak din ako dati na may Celebral palsy 5years and 9months ko lang sya nakamasam kasi sa kasamaang palad kinuha na sya ni Papa God sa akin 😭💔 mag 5years na syang wala kung buhay lang yun mag 11years old na sana sya 💔😭 kaya super salute ako sa kagaya mo na super alaga kay alonzo remember ko yung pinagdaanan ko nung na ICU anak ko almost 5months tas tinaningan ng doctor until now di pa din ako makamove on dahil sa nawala yung anak ko kahit may baby na ako now.. Godbless you po salute ako sa mga kagaya natin na single mom na kinaya ang lahat ng trials sa buhay para sa mga anak ❤️

Anyone with any dysphagia or difficulty swallowing and is on any enteral feedings is at a higher risk for aspiration pneumonia especially if the person is fed laying down. To prevent aspiration or aspiration pneumonia, make sure the head is higher than the stomach when feeding laying down to make sure that none of the feeding is entering the lungs

Hello po. I’m a tubie mom too for 11 years. Hwag po kayo mag alala you’re not alone. If ever po you need someone to talk to or questions hwag po kayo magdalawang isip to reach out. PEG/G/GJ tube is a life changing experience although pricey siya pero need talaga ng mga anak natin. If you don’t mind po I have an extra feeding pump para mas madali po sa’yo to feed your baby. And it’s safe to use. Just let me know po. 😊 Good luck po sa journey nyo. Be strong lang po fight fight fight lang po.
