The Scottish humour and warmth in action. Thank you! Brightened a grey day...

I simply love your Scottish accents. I hope to one day visit Scotland. Thanks for the tutorial. I plan on going to the Texas Renaissance Festival this weekend and the theme is “Highland Fling”, so I’ll definitely try one wearing the sash one of the ways you demonstrated.

All of my dad's side of the family are Scottish and I'd love to wear this over my wedding dress one day to honour my family ❤

I like the third method with rosette, brooch and safety pin. Go all out!

I always thought that , much like with a man's fly plaid, the brooch does not get pinned through the underlying garment. I, myself, use small safety pins to keep my plaid from shifting too much and remove the plaid when all the formal photos are done.

thank you so much. would love you to do a shawl tying class, also can you use a shall as a sash sometimes? Btw. I agree, tie it on the left.

Hello, does it matter the orientation of the pin? Or different meanings on if the ends of the pin pointed up or down or left or right?

Would you have the MacInnes tartan in a sash for a bride and another for the father of the bride

Unless worn as a long scarf - this would be warm.
