Advantage Manchester City who go top of the Premier League after both Liverpool and Arsenal lose at home. For the Reds, it’s a second home defeat in 4 days, and Arsenal are undone by former manager Unai Emery.
Elsewhere, wilting Tottenham come up against the best finisher in the Premier League, and another matchday in which Man Utd concede over 20 shots.
Jimbo welcomes Daniel Storey, Adrian Clarke and Tim Spiers after some title race shenanigans in the Premier League.

Not seen many people mention them, but McGinn and Tielemans were absolutely outstanding in that second half for Villa. They utterly ran the midfield.
McGinn is so underrated
Especially impressive as I'm not sure they have played the double pivot together before and neither of them play there if everyone is available
It's that sweet sweet ass of McGinn just wanna kiss it 😜
Top podcast this, as per.
The look on Storey's face when Spiers said he kept the volume on for when he was two screening the Champions League games 😃
Haha the three of them were like 😮🤨😐
A weekend like this had a feeling of inevitability about it. City are relentless.
I was at Anfield on Sunday. You must‘ve seen a different game. First half was utter shite. Second half totally different. Yes, we were bad, but should‘ve scored four goals. To state there was only Nunez‘ chance is simply untrue.
Ye jota missed a big chance. Curtis Jones missed two big chances. Salah had a great chance in the first half.
Liverpool were by far the better team, dominated the game and just failed to score. Again.
Rainbows do exist geniuses!!!!
From my perspective we might as well hand City the trophy now… the management are very good at ensuring the team peak around this time. They will not be dropping points until they have secured the Prem (like they did season when they won 12 in a row). If they are to win every remaining game, they will have won 9 in a row. The league is done.
Nice copy paste analysis
@@Fpl8646 boring reply that achieves nothing other than attempting to troll.
Another one for city isn't it
Drinking your tears, Adrian Clarke. 😂
You live in tears as a Spurs fan…
115 FC.... When will it end Robbie ??
City winning the league again would be the most depressing thing in the world. I'm happy to lose it to Liverpool, United, even SPURS if they deserve it. But City, The FFP cheats... Please not again.
Tell me about it
This is the world we live in 😢
I wonder if the league will do anything with those 115 charges. If anything motivates them to, it will be if people lose interest in the Prem because it’s getting bloody predictable. And one of the USPs is that the Prem is competitive - it isn’t…
@@leolovetoparty Part of me is just done with football. But I would feel bad to abandon my team, who I love. But the premier league itself, as a "competition", and the grotesque commercialisation of the sport... The disgraceful ticket prices, the three new kits every season, the sports washing, the monopolising of broadcasting, prison sentences given to people for providing streams while sky and bt have us all over a barrel. It's just too much for me. I understand why Klopp has to get away. He's been absolutely robbed by this lot. Football history has been snapped in two.
@@BigDome1 I’m with you 100%. The trouble is that we are now hooked. The game is very different now to the early-mid 80s when I started supporting Liverpool…
I’m in 2 minds about getting my 4 year old into football. For sure, if he supports any team, I want it to be LFC, but maybe it will be better for him to not support any team at all…
@@leolovetoparty Relax, How many times did Man U win it under Sir Alex? The world didn't end. If you want to compete with City, dust yourselves off and outplay them over an entire 38 game schedule.
honestly, what's the point of prioritizing this instead of the old tifo podcast? ridiculous.
Has Sam Lee done something to offend you guys? A City correspondent would be nice once in a while...
it's definitely a North London bias on this show, but they're all great analysts so 🤷
Yep, fair enough - swings and roundabouts!
