The new generation of Minecraft youtuber is almost all competitive players.
I'm so glad that our Captain is catching up with the trend. I hope we can see him improves his fighting style and stage control soon.
It was a pain for me, when he wasn't care about the competitive side of minecraft in the past.
That's one of the reasons I watched him, because he was chill and isn't highly competitive.
Also, Old MCYT focused more on minigames, maps and roleplay instead of competitions.
@@patricker113 I agree. I'm not really about the competition side of things. I enjoy Minecraft for its creative content.
But... I live for that beautiful editing around the 11 minute mark. Good stuff. XD Takes me back to Ragequit Mountain.
@@patricker113 it wouldn’t really be a championship though. I get your point, but the championship is supposed to be competitive. It shows who is the best team because when each player gets matched up with the team, they have to cooperate. This in turn allows people to meet new people which is actually good :)
@@Mike-kl5yc i agree. Remember when techno and dan got teamed up in minecraft monday? And techno kinda help dan with pvp? Thats pretty pog. I love how the new gens helping and not forgetting the old gens since, we have to agree- theyre probably the reason that the new gens inspired to be a yt. :D

edit: nvm it was chosen mcc 8 too so it was mcc 7 that it wasn't chosen.

It’s strange because dream makes it all look so easy and then you see the captain who isn’t bad at parkour at all in my opinion struggling very hard with it. It just makes me wonder how dream just kinda does it.
Its just a skill gap. Plus I think a big difference is dream doesn't let the pressure get to him. Jordan tends to choke under pressure
The big thing there is practice. The more you practice the better you get. We can see that in those ice cube section, while everyone stops and crouch to the corner after landing, Dream did that without stopping. Its all about finding quick and efficient ways to do each section.
Also Dream keenly looks for skips which he did at 2:13. Jumped straight to last trapdoor.
So yeah practice and creativity.
Jordan isnt bad at parkour, but isnt good at parkour too he is avg
Dream is just a freak of nature
it has a lot to do with skill but dream also is just on there for hours and hours at a time practicing, he also thrives under pressure unlike a lot of others
It's nice watching Spooklez self effacingly put in effort into improving his parkour skills. Hope his work ethic motivates and inspires many of his viewers :)
