The Dead Demon Consuming Seal aka the Reaper Seal was an Uzumaki technique that summoned one of these missing Otsutsuki Death Gods. Another Death God is not summoned, but is still able to interact with his followers in the sect of Jashin. It is likely that every red-haired character in Naruto is really an Uzumaki. Hidan's hair pigment turns red at times when he powers up, and it is likely that he is an Uzumaki who made a deal with Jashin, another Reaper Death God. We see that Jashin's symbol is a triangle, which was incorporated into Delta's entire character, so don't be surprised when there turns out to be a connection! Neither of these Death Gods, nor any Shinigami Demon, will ever reincarnate, because they are in limbo - neither death nor alive. But the third missing Otsutsuki did reincarnate. His name was Shibai. Who could he be if not Boruto himself who actually manifests Shibai's horns at times? Like Boruto, he manifested a Jougan in his right eye. Like Boruto, he can manifest storms, and thunderbolts; in fact, Boruto's original name was Bolt. I expect Boruto to evolve to the point where he can manifest all of the Shinjutsu that were split up by Amado.

As for why he might do it: - regret - they actually had a good relationship - ask for a favor My initial theory was (and still applies to Code) that he planned to bring back Shibai from ascension, and there the reasons were: - ask him for a favor (bring back Akebi) - kill him for good (for taking Akebi from him) Basically whether Amado's end goals are, they wont be rational from a normal perspective.
