All his memorabilia should be in a museum. I didn't understand why MJJ estate or US government didn't take a step to make a museum for possessions of such world famous artist. Why to sell them for money? It seems like he got torn into pieces. Of course if these auctions were done in his lifetime to clear his debt, then it would have a meaning or a cause. After his death, his estate and family got huge sum of money from insurance. Then why this auctions? If all his memorabilia could be kept in sequence from first to last it would have been a real place of visit and inspiration for young stars.💛
You know what? We can still hope of a museum that has all his memorabilia. Lady Gaga now owns most of his auctioned costumes including all the iconic jackets that he used to wear. She has stated in several interviews that she has all the attires kept under safe conditions. And I'm not sure of this but I heard her say that she might plan to have a museum made to honor his legacy.
