@@thetos8193 I used to like Jack Hibbs but quit listening to him since he repeatedly push people to vote, even said Christians who don't vote need to repent and that used Luke 13 to analogize that they're wicked servants. Also, he becomes more a NAR political influencer/podcaster than a humble pastor caring for their sheep. I'd avoid him.

This prophecy update blessed my socks off! I often feel guilty because I'm hating being here in this world. I want to be with Jesus in my heavenly home. I feel like I should be about the Lord's business staying the course and I not wanting my family and friends to perish or be stuck here in the tribulation. But I selfishly want to just be home. I guess that's not wrong. J D , I hate this world, it's horrible way of hurting those who are truly innocent and fragile. I long for heaven, it's consumes my thoughts and makes it hard to be here. I listened to another well known prophecy teacher earlier this week, who made a statement that churned my stomach. He was taking about his 401K & other investments & trading them in for silver, as its totally possible that Jesus isnt coming back in our lifetime👈🏼 I had to stop watching as he continued with other statements that made no sense when you see whats TRULY going on in the world. The ONLY thing I care about in this world is Salvation for my son Silverius, daughter Amalie and my Grandchildren Noah & Cash. Don't hate it here. God put us here for a reason. Find your reason, God's will for your time on earth, enjoy it, but keep God close to your heart in all you do. There are blessings here every day. In many places in the Bible we are told to enjoy the good God has given us here on earth while we wait for heaven. Every time I ride my bike, go to the beach, hike in the mountains, or anything beautiful and lovely, I praise God and thank him for his blessings. We are supposed to share our light with others while here, not walk around grumbling with long faces. We are supposed to do God's Will and rejoice according to .any psalms and other Buble passages. Mathew 5:16 is one of many. I have gone through many awful times in life, no doubt about it, that is our cross, but there is good too.

A few years ago I had a dream where I saw the rapture, and as I awoke this passage with this exact meaning was ringing in my ears. I still remember that dream like it was yesterday. Praise be the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanks for the encouragement. With my handicaps, I can't do a lot anymore but God has shown me with the message that the memories and joy I cling to from those souls I have reached can be turned into more treasure by praying as I recall, just like Paul called others his joy and crown. Also, as the verse where the angel asks if he has any with him, I was reminded and will encourage others to pray for the children of this world.
Hand out gospel tracts to service people! Also, to everyone begging at traffic lights. Visit a shut-in and read them scripture. Stay encouraged bro! Maranatha!

I loved your analogy of pouring all of your money into a house that you are renting month to month. I think God has been speaking to my heart about this - we are not going to be here so I need to stop worrying about fixing up our house. Several years ago, I had a dream that my mom, dad, brother and I were all living in different houses around a blue lake with green grass and wildflowers. There was a boat dock with a canoe and a hammock between 2 of the houses. I can see it so vividly. I think that I was just getting a micro glimpse of what life might be like in Heaven or the millenium. That is where my heart is and I will try my best to stop focusing on things of this world and keep looking up!

It feels strange to deliberately 'draw fire' by speaking about the end times, but it's also a joy. We 'have need of endurance' to prepare us for the Rapture; Hebrews 10:34-38. In the quiet and dark early morning hours, it must have seemed to Lot as if nothing terrible was about to fall upon the region. Maybe the family loitered because they felt foolish. Perhaps they were creeping through the streets hoping that no one would hear them from inside their houses...

JD, Lots wife had two daughters left back there who were married. The two daughters that came out with him were single, unmarried virgins. She looked back because she cared more for her daughters than following the command of God. I’m sure she treasured that more than the city itself. Either way, she failed.
This is why Jesus said those 3 words. How many of us have unsaved children and family and are tempted to ask the Lord to delay coming until they get saved? I am one with unsaved children and I pray for their salvation, but more importantly that Jesus returns to take his Church, then judge the unrighteous. That should be our only focus.

Was Lot's wife a native of Sodom or it's vicinity? She may be looking back for other relatives, family & friends. I hope to see my children & grandchildren going up with me, or at least find that they also arrived in Heaven at the Rapture. And maybe not. Hi Julie. They could be the same daughters, if the practice was to be betrothed for a year before consummation. They were considered to be married by contract, the same as we are betrothed to Christ. Hope that helps.🙂
