Very cool and different but still simple setup! Love the tracks too!
Beautiful! Genious use of the gear! Loved it!
Very cool, I love learning about different live performance setups! Would also love to learn some live modular transitions if that's a thing.
Get yourself a CV looper and a befaco morphader
Excellent demonstration - I learned a lot - Kudos and thanks mate!
Awesome setup, explanation and jams!
Such a clever solution, love this!
I've been using the 202 for exactly this too - its ideal!
I was thinking about getting a 505 to put into my DAWless setup, and I didn’t know this was the video I needed to see today, but thank you haha😅
I been thinking the same and watching anything Rc505 and 202 lol
Really interesting setup, thanks for sharing!
Got a Rhythm on the way and would consider getting a rc202 now haha.
thank u! i found this video helpful
Wow. I just started using the rhythm and tracks live, and I see how the rc 202 can help out when I need to transition between packs
Oh dang I did not know about the step effects in Circuit Rhythm … that certainly changes the game up a bit
Awesome workflow! Also Drew's tracks are banging! Do they have a Bandcamp????
Very nice, thanks! I want to realise a different setup but until now can‘t come up with a real solution. I want to make the mix with a classic DJ-Mixer, so i can pre-listen to the next Track i will play. Also i want to make a classic mix with fade in and out. Do you have any idea how to realise that? Thank you!
“Caveman hands”….lol
Great video, thanks for sharing this!
What is the battery pack you are using for the Digitakt?
Not janky at all! Actually very nice compact setup for a fun live set that takes minimal physical setup and is easy/low stress on the performer.
Does drew have his own You Tube channel or bamdcamp love his stuff
cool!
Sounds so good
I was wondering why you don't send the midi clock to the RC202. I presume it's for smoothing the BPM transition?
Late answer, but I would imagine: clock signal is also sending start stop signals, which mess things up pretty badly, at least for me.
I bought a filter box to prevent this.
RC-202 runs on 9V 440mA draw, you can get a MyVolts on that too.
Cant you just loop everything from the digitakt in the rythm?
Why not have th 202 synched?
I like to leave it unsynched to be able to catch weird loops and not have them be on the grid
AGREE 100% that the "patterns banks" cluster fuck is not brain friendly for me.
To each their own, and if that works for you, great, but damn what an overcomplicated setup to play songs, add some master FX, and loop to load projects :D
Perhaps the novation circuit was but the looper is so so useful for live use
😌 P-R-O-M-O-S-M!
Octatrack could do all the things you are doing here with these three boxes
True, and it would probably be easier. I had these three things lying around separately and wanted to imitate OT without getting one, because I def don't want or need one! They are super cool and useful, just not really what I want :) Are you an OT user?
@@towelinthebromm5199 Oh I see, makes sense then. Seeing your setup, that was my initial thought, that it seemed like someone emulating an Octatrack. Yes I use one and I love it ❤️
Not true, you cannot switch Octatrack projects without stopping the audio. The alternative is to do the whole set in one project: on Octatrack that means 128 static samples, 128 flex samples. This is not a difficult limit to hit with multiple songs. The live looper is a clever workaround to switch projects especially if only sampling the main output.
Nice 👍
