There is a language barrier between the Sinhalese and Tamil communities in Sri Lanka.There is no sense of equality, mutual understanding and social integration across these communities. This short film is about a Tamil speaking youth from the north of the country who visits the capital Colombo. He can neither understand nor speak the Sinhalese language. During his travel in a bus he has to interact with a conductor, who speaks Sinhalese and Hindi, but not Tamil, The indifference of the conductor towards the passengers illuminates the importance of bilingualism for co-existence In Sri Lanka.
