in france in aug i used makers illusion d rig and landed 5 lost 2 including my pb 66lb 12oz. confident to use it now..

Use of a Drone must be a useful tactic.

You can also get an adapter for certain drones that will carry then drop you rigs in position. Not my cup of tea but I have no issue with others using them along as it doesn't effect my fishing.
I've used one a few times on a 40 acre pit. I can't say it directly helped me catch but I learnt an incredible amount about the lakes features.
@@Tjw1 I suppose the cheaper they get then more and more people will be using them. It might not be long before the likes of Fox are producing their own? Can't say I like the idea of a lot of them skimming over the water when I'm fishing. Mind you, they could also be useful for scaring the tufties away.
@@Smudgie mine is a DJI Mavic, it folds down as small as a spod and you can pick them up for peanuts. The best view is from up high, you don't see much of your near the surface.

Bloke used one on monks pit in the winter. Emptied the place on zigs. More of a cheat than bait boats in my opinion. If you cant be arsed to climb trees or your too big to climb trees. You need to have a little word with yourself. Not just for fishing purposes but for health reasons
great point. im sure now no one will use a drone and everyone older with bad knees are climbing trees on treeless big pits.

Huge hooks!? I always thought the size of a hook was defined by it's gape so a size 4 wide gape is really a size 2 or 3? it's a bit of a pain when I cannot get my usual hooks and have to use another brand in a similar pattern the sizes just don't seem to match. Whats wrong with using a standard for sizes? Im sure there used to be one.
The new Exocet looks interesting is the 0.4 still rated at 23lb or has that all changed, is it still as soft as the old stuff.
katran crypton 0.37 at 21lb very soft and very strong. check it out
Yes the 0.40 is still 23lbs I use it and it's pretty soft I wouldn't use any other line only exocet 👍

Absolutely, you can’t catch what is not in front of you. This video should however give you an idea about what you could use in a similar situation. 😊

my biggest tip for catching big carp got to france to a heavily stocked lake that is rammed with huge carp lol these guys need to get on a uk big pit or res and fish a low stock water for 30 to 40 pounders with the rumour of a 50 we all go france and catch 50 60 70 and my pb 87 pound carp unreal how much this as become about money ill get you a guest on my 117 acre pit wich has done 23 fish all year one at 60 lets see your results real world fox come on ffs
Going to France for a weeks holiday is the real world, like you have said you’ve gone to France and caught an amazing fish! We film at all sorts of different venues with different stockings because carp fishing is so diverse, we want to give something for everyone. Not everyone would see 100+ acres with very few carp in as a realistic venue to fish as they don’t have the time to put in. Loads of anglers have enjoyed this film, sorry it wasn’t for you 👍
