Wow! We were truly left speechless during our visit the grutas tolantongo. I am so glad we made this trip. Edgar really wanted us to go and I had never even heard of it before. We feel so lucky to have been able to visit this natural beauty that has been mostly untouched. This is definitely one of the most amazing places either of us have ever been to.

The caves are hot too. It's just that at the entrance there's a waterfall of cold water because part of the river comes from uptop and the other part gets thru the mountain which is the water that gets heated up. So you get cold at the entrance but hot inside the cave. It's the best part.🤦🏻♂️
Guess we will have to go back! We really only had 1 full day there. I think 2 full days would’ve been perfect
@@ashlynnowen A suggestion. The way I went there was pueblito hopping from CDMX- Mineral del Chico-Actopan(Barbacoa de Borrego)-Ixmiquilpan-Tolantongo. You can go further up to Xilitla though I have not gone yet from Ixmiquilpan to Xilitla. I went to Xilitla from SLP.
That was a really good video and I like the fact that you guys said it was open for 365 days cuz all the other videos I have watched no one has said that that I could remember
