Iâve had this video idea for a really long time, because this âroleplayâ was my first experience with ASMR as a kid! The story I tell at the end of the video is true - my momâs nursing student friends would practice their pediatric exams on me and it was sooo relaxing haha. I hope I was able to recreate that a bit!

I think your best videos are the RP ones, the medical ones especially. You're very good at coming across as very knowledgeable and competent in the roles you're doing, and it lends a layer of believability to it which makes the ASMR more likely to work.

Is she a real nurse? If so, she wouldn't be doing this show, I suppose.

I used to love watching ASMR nursing student head to toe assessments when I was in school, this takes me back
I watch a ton of ASMR and I've never seen it done right on one of these. To take blood pressure:
1. Put the stethoscope earpieces on and the stethoscope face at the base of the cuff (about at the elbow).
2. Quickly squeeze the pump up to some pressure higher than a typical reading.
3. Turn the knob to slowly release the air, listening for when the beating becomes audible. The pressure reading at that point is the high number.
4. Continue letting air out slowly, listening for when the beating becomes inaudible again. That pressure reading is the low number.

Jack-Thank you! Blood pressure taken incorrectly in RP always bugs me. I get that it takes the knowledge to know how to do it right, but a quick CZcams video search how to would be a quick way to learn and impress those of us who do know. Also paying close attention when getting your blood pressure checked the next time can be helpful. They could also simulate the arm being used by using a tumbler or something of the like off screen so that the pressure builds. The Velcro being torn apart can also be too loud sometimes, so itâs great when editing quiets that down. Also checking the heart and lungs are two different processes. When listening to lungs, 2 breaths in each spot. The heart should be listened to for at least 2 heartbeats. Google auscultation for more info on that. Another tip-take the pulse first (before taking blood pressure) or take it on the other arm. Great job telling them to uncross your legs! Feet flat on the floor is also good to say.

Ps- Just a heads up for future medical roleplays, you have to listen with your stethoscope to take manual blood pressure. After pumping it up we release the cuff pressure and listen for little knocking sounds, taking note of when they start and stop to get the systolic/diastolic BP numbers. :)

As a 24 year old schizophrenic with anxiety/stress/depression Iâve been watching a lot of asmr videos and as a car guy with expensive interests (cars) I can have 20 cars to drive but I watch done car pov videos quite often and a ton of medical role plays by very attractive women and as Iâm a shy/ alone single guy I love the tingles and mind shivers from these asmr soft spoken nurse videos
